Fellowship at Alvarados |
August 30, 2024
Event Recap / General
The recent fellowship held at the home of John and Maureen Alvarado on August 30th was truly a great time! With around 80 to 100 people in attendance, it was a wonderful mix of both newer members and those who have been part of the church for some time. These gatherings provide such a great opportunity for us to connect on a deeper level, building relationships that go beyond just seeing each other on Sundays. The Alvarados went above and beyond with their hospitality, making everyone feel welcome. Their home was beautiful and welcoming and the food they and others provided was fantastic! Whether you were catching up with old friends or meeting someone new, there was no shortage of conversations and good times throughout the evening. A big thank you goes out to everyone who attended, brought food, or simply came to enjoy the fellowship. These moments are what help strengthen our church and we are grateful for everyone who took part. Stay tuned for details on our next fellowship event—we can’t wait to gather together again!...
Children’s Ministry at ILC | August 11, 2024
August 11, 2024
Event Recap / General
This past Sunday, our Sunday School classes had a great time teaching about choices and their consequences. We talking about the idea that good decisions often lead to positive outcomes, while poor choices can have unfavorable results. To illustrate this concept, we turned to biblical stories involving Naaman, Elisha, and Gehazi. Naaman, who listened to Elijah’s advice, experienced healing from leprosy. His wise choices paid off. On the other hand, Gehazi’s greed led him down a different path. His poor decisions resulted in the same leprosy that Naaman had been cured of. It was neat to see how our teachers creatively taught this message to students of all ages, from toddlers to 11-year-olds. After class, the bus ministry celebrated with a pizza party and cake. Great Sunday all around!...
VBS| July 24-27, 2024
July 27, 2024
Event Recap / General
What a fabulous time we had at Outback Rock VBS 2024! We ventured into the Australian outback where we learned that God’s love is monumental; if we hold fast to God and His truth, we can have unshakeable faith; and that God will never leave us nor forsake us! Every station was equipped with enthusiastic and creative staff. We started each night with songs where we learned about worshiping a faithful God. From there, we moved in different directions from the game station, missions room, snack shack, arts and crafts, and the Bible adventure room. In each one of these stations, the Bible verse of the day was taught and reinforced in a variety of ways. Every craft that was made had the verse of the day on it or with it and we learned how that craft helped to remind us of God’s love for us. The games were so much fun, and helped the kids to move their bodies so that their minds could focus on the interesting stories they heard in the missions room. When you entered the missions room, it felt like you were actually in the desert with a tent draped from the ceiling and camping gear set up inside. The snack area was a great place for everyone to rest and refresh themselves before they went for an exciting Bible adventure. The Bible adventure room was once again a great treat for everyone. Our Bible story teachers built a cave inside the classroom. When the kids entered, they walked through two giant pillars and were surrounded by realistic cave walls, stalactites, and bats. Every night a new story from the Bible was shared that showed the kids how big God’s love is for us, what it looks like to have unshakable faith, and that God will never leave us; in fact, He went to Calvary to save us! What an awesome God we serve! We ended this year with a fabulous kid’s service on Saturday where our team brought it all together and gave an altar call where everyone had an opportunity to meet that very God they had learned about all week. A big thank you to everyone that helped with VBS this year from decorations, set-up, food, crew leaders, station leaders, and all of the helpers that were there during VBS! You were a great blessing and it could not have been done without you! We are looking forward to VBS 2025!...
Sunday School at ILC | July 21, 2024
July 21, 2024
Event Recap / General
We rounded up children from all corners of the surrounding communities on our buses and they joined the ones that arrived with family. As they settled into our classrooms, we dove into an important topic: Families Are NOT Always Perfect. The Bible is full of family stories that make our modern-day dramas seem tame. Remember Jacob and his sons? Their sibling rivalries could rival any of today. And let’s not forget Abraham—two wives, two very different paths. But here’s the beautiful truth: Your family doesn’t have to be perfect for God to use you. In fact, God specializes in using imperfect vessels. He takes our messy, broken stories and creates something extraordinary. Our Sunday School class was electric. Kids leaned in, wide-eyed, as we explored these family sagas. We laughed and we discovered that God shines brightest in our weaknesses. Each class was followed by a great time of prayer! Our teachers are many times the unsung heroes—the ones who patiently teach these young people. They’re the storytellers, the prayer warriors and the ones that take the time to create an amazing environment each Sunday which can take a lot of time and work. Their dedication makes every Sunday School special. See you next Sunday at ILC!...
PEAK Youth Conference 2024 | July 17-19, 2024
July 19, 2024
Event Recap / General
Peak 2024 was nothing short of life-changing! On July 17-19th, thousands of people across the country gathered together in Tulsa, OK for the annual PEAK youth conference. In those numbers, over 75 of our young people represented ILC Momentum Youth. Each service, our young people went in pouring their hearts into worship and giving their all throughout the services. Brother Jordan Copeland opened up the first night and delivered a masterpiece! Brothers Kevin Bradford, Daniel McKillop, Steven Jones, and Zach Wells so ably followed him in the remaining services. Each service began in a powerful time of worship and concluded in life altering altar calls. Momentum Youth has truly been challenged and equipped in these services, taking home every sermon preached and ready to take on our city! Not only were our young people inspired and changed spiritually, but also old friendships were rekindled and new ones were started! We love ILC Momentum and are so Holy Ghost proud of each of you. Thank you to all our chaperones for making this possible!...
July 4th Celebration at ILC
July 4, 2024
Event Recap / General
This past Fourth of July, ILC was ablaze but with festivity, not fire, as over 200 people gathered for a memorable celebration. Amidst an abundance of food and the company of friends and family, everyone had a splendid evening. A highlight of the event was the bike parade, which saw around 20 young participants taking part. Decked out in patriotic apparel, streamers, flags, lights, and more, the parade was a colorful spectacle. The top three winners were awarded gift cards to the coffee shop, and every participant received a gift. Special thanks to Jennifer Booker for making this happen. As dusk approached, Sis Kacey Lynn stirred hearts with her rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, marking the start of the fireworks. While the church’s display adhered to local regulations (you can read that as “emitted showers of sparks”), the night sky around us exploded with patriotic fervor as the less law abiding citizens celebrated with gusto. It was truly a fantastic evening enjoyed by all. If you haven’t yet attended one of these gatherings, we invite you to join us next time. It’s not only a great way to celebrate but also a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in the church....
Keenager Event | June 22, 2024
June 22, 2024
Event Recap / General
Well, if you haven’t noticed, we’re extremely busy here at Inland Lighthouse Church. Weddings, birthdays, graduations, and graduation parties—you name it. After about two months of trying to find an open Saturday, we finally pulled off a Keenager Fellowship at Bob Betor’s Ranch. We had a great turnout despite the record heat, and Sister Nancy even brought a couple of K.I.T.s (Keenagers-In-Training) from the B-Free class. We had great food, including chicken enchiladas, fried chicken, and more chicken. Unfortunately, Brother Dwayne hates chicken and says he hasn’t eaten it since he was five! Fortunately, he didn’t starve as pizzas showed up miraculously like manna from heaven. Sis Charlene Moore brought a delicious strawberry trifle that Bro Moore says he could eat every day. Often, this group has a time of singing and praise during our events, and this time was no exception. Sister Carlene and Nila blessed us with a medley of songs on the accordion. We did have a singalong of many old gospel greats, and it was powerful. God has been so good to us. For anyone interested in becoming a Keenager, just hang in there, baby!...
Junior Camp Recap| June 17-21, 2024
June 21, 2024
Event Recap / General
Junior camp this year at Camp MorningStar was one of the most incredible camps we’ve ever had! We hosted 130 kids up in the mountains, all enjoying our detective theme, “Search for Truth.” The camp was filled with fun and engaging activities, including painted rocks hidden around the camp each day, hidden treasure bars with clues leading to them throughout the week, decorated cabins, costumed counselors, a beautifully adorned main sanctuary, camp-long skits, and much more. The kids enjoyed huge inflatables, basketball, volleyball, scavenger hunts, horseback riding, and an array of other activities! The highlight, without question, was the services. Bro Gabe Baker from Chehalis, Washington, delivered an outstanding series of messages, and God came down! Almost every child who needed the Holy Ghost received it, and those with a desire to be renewed absolutely were. The deep moves of the Holy Ghost were especially powerful on Tuesday and Thursday nights, with children praying earnestly for over two hours. These kids weren’t trying to impress anyone or faking it—they were genuinely and deeply touching God. Many of our staff said that the Tuesday night service was one of, if not the most powerful they had ever been in! We are incredibly grateful for what God did at camp and for everyone who helped make it so wonderful. We’re already looking forward to Junior Camp 2025. Make plans to join us, whether as staff or a camper!...

Memorial Day Picnic | May 27, 2024
May 27, 2024
Event Recap / General
This Memorial Day, the ILC church and lots of friends and family enjoyed a wonderful picnic at Martin Tudor park. Hundreds of us gathered in the park taking over a large area and two softball fields. Many people from young to old played softball, sharing in the fun and friendly competition. It was great to see everyone getting involved and having a great time. The food was incredible. We had an abundance of steaks, hot dogs, hot links, and SO much more. The grills were busy, and the delicious smells filled the air. Everyone found something they liked, and no one went home hungry. This event was put on by the “InGroup,” and a special thank you goes out to Kenny Lorenz for reserving the park every year. His dedication ensures we have a perfect spot to gather and celebrate. There was a great time of fellowship and new friendships were made. Kids ran around playing games, and adults enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. What a great time! See you all again next year!...
Sunday School at ILC | May 19, 2024
May 19, 2024
Event Recap / General
Last Sunday at ILC was great! Delaney was back in the superclass and the kids were so excited to see her again after her missions trip. Our Sunday School teachers taught lessons about day of Pentecost. The children learned about the incredible experience of receiving the Holy Ghost. The boys and girls class had an unexpected twist during their outdoor activity. What started as a friendly water balloon tossing contest quickly escalated into an all-out water fight! The altar calls were powerful. Children knelt at altars, tears flowed, hearts poured out, and God moved. To celebrate the children’s for our offering contest, ice cream sundaes awaited them after class....
Night of Worship, Yucaipa | May 10, 2024
May 10, 2024
Event Recap / General
May 10 was a monumental day in the Inland Empire. A little over 1,500 people gathered for a Night of Worship (NOW) at the Yucaipa High School football stadium. What a started out as a few Bible studies on the campus turned into the largest NOW thus far. The initial plan was to hold NOW in a multi-purpose room or auditorium with just a few hundred seats and with only 54 days to plan the event, no one knew what to really expect. BUT GOD! He blew our mind as he always does! People came from all parts of Southern California to worship under the lights. When it was all said and done, 50+ received the Holy Ghost and 14 were baptized in Jesus name. On Saturday, our phone call team along with help from other churches called over 250 of the guests. Great contacts were made. On Sunday in Yucaipa, several were in service with 3 receiving the Holy Ghost, 1 praying back through and 2 baptized. There is no telling what will come from this night. A vision became a reality! This is just the beginning! Let’s continue to pray for more doors to open on our high school and college campuses. Thank you to everyone who helped from setup to tear down to make Night of Worship a huge success. ...
Holy Ghost Rally | April 28, 2024
April 28, 2024
Event Recap / General
Last Sunday at the Lighthouse Church was nothing short of incredible. With the aftermath of a bustling children’s ministry conference lingering, our fellowship hall was brimming with enthusiasm. We rolled up our sleeves and dove straight into Sunday school, with a LOT OF help from our friends who had stayed over from the conference. The result? A Holy Ghost rally in our fellowship hall that was nothing short of spectacular. The fellowship hall was packed to the brim with over 267 souls, from toddlers to teens, and only a handful of adults among them—just 30 to be exact. It was a sight to behold, with action songs blaring but the real excitement happened when Bro James Pelletier took the stage, armed with puppets and a bunch of eggs. Then came Bro Chris Bradshaw from Union City, Tennessee. With passion he led us to the altar call and there, one young lady found what she was looking for—the gift of the Holy Ghost! What an incredible day!...
Children’s Ministry Conference | April 26-27, 2024
April 21, 2024
Event Recap / General
Last weekend, the Redlands church was buzzing with energy as the SCC hosted an incredible children’s ministry conference. Folks from all corners of the nation gathered to learn about Sunday school and bus ministry. Kicking things off was Pastor Joel Booker with a powerful message: “It’s all about the children.” His words set the tone for the weekend, emphasizing the importance of what we are doing in children’s ministry! Throughout the conference, attendees had the opportunity to learn from a lineup of exceptional teachers including James Pelletier, Chris Bradshaw, Gabe Baker, Caleb Dillon, Julian Estrada, Ray Munoz, Liz Machuca, Tyler Hodge, and more. Breakout sessions covered a range of topics, equipping participants with practical tools and strategies to enhance their ministries. Friday night we had an incredible service for our children led by workshop attendees. Four children received the Holy Ghost, two of them from ILC. On Saturday, lunch was graciously provided, thanks to the efforts of Brella Booker and her team of helpers. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the conference. Your support is deeply appreciated. We look forward to next year already! See you all then!...
Sunday School & Bus Ministry | April 21, 2024
April 21, 2024
Event Recap / General
We had a blast last Sunday at Sunday school and with our bus ministry! Our classes delved into the theme of jealousy, drawing insights from timeless stories like Cain and Abel, David and Saul, and Joseph and his brothers. It was heartening to see our children engaged and having a blast in every class. A huge shoutout to our dedicated teachers whose passion and commitment make these moments possible. And let’s not forget our amazing bus workers and drivers, who go above and beyond to ensure our community’s children make it to church safely. A big round of applause is also due to the unsung heroes behind the scenes—the ones who handle check-ins, provide breakfast, maintain security, manage the Sunday school store, and so much more. Your hard work and dedication don’t go unnoticed. Keep up the incredible work, everyone!...
Bible Quiz Tournament | April 19 & 20, 2024
April 20, 2024
Event Recap / General
Redlands, California recently played host to a gathering of young minds at a Bible Quizzing tournament, where 30 teams from across the region converged for a day of spirited competition on the Word of God. The tournament saw teams from many churches from as far as Arizona competing for top honors. In the beginner division, the ILC team stood out, securing an impressive fourth-place finish. Alex Santiago emerged as the second highest scorer. We can also be very proud of our junior division team which quizzed very well, despite several of the quizzers being absent due to the Esther Conference held the same weekend. The intermediate category saw Rialto 1 clinching the fourth spot, with Isiah Vargas as the fifth highest scorer. The ILC experienced teams also quizzed very well, placing second and third respectively. Individual accolades also shone through in the experienced division, with Natalya Booker claiming the title of the third highest scorer, closely followed by Trystan Booker and Elayna Booker, who secured the fourth and fifth highest scorer positions respectively. Following the quizzing, participants and supporters gathered to unwind and celebrate at Chick-fil-A. Huge thank yous go to Brother Danny Tirado for driving the youth shuttle with the quizzers and coaches on Saturday! What a great year so far… We are looking forward to the next tournament in Sacramento already!...

Event Recap / General
We recently had a blast at Bob Betor’s place! It was a fantastic gathering where folks from all walks of life in our church came together to hang out and get to know each other better, especially those who are newer and still trying to get to know one another. A huge shoutout to Bob and everyone who lent a hand in putting together an amazing spread. From mouthwatering nachos to comforting tortilla soup and more, there was no shortage of delicious treats to enjoy. After filling our bellies, we gathered around the campfire for a session of laughter and storytelling as Bob took the floor. Now, mark your calendars for our next gathering on May 24th, hosted by Philip and Jennifer Booker. Stay tuned for more details as we gear up for another evening of good company and great memories!...
Youth Explosion 2024 | Apr 11-13
April 13, 2024
Event Recap / General
Youth Explosion 2024 was off the charts! This past weekend, April 11th-13th, we were excited to host our annual Youth Explosion conference. On Thursday night, we had our bilingual service. The Spanish youth praise team did an outstanding job in leading us in worship, and Evangelist Juan Nunez preached a powerfully convicting message urging everyone to go deeper in our prayer lives. On Friday night, the ILC Momentum youth choir sang with excellence and anointing as they prepared an atmosphere for Evangelist Colton Carroll to bring forth the Word. Brother Carroll preached a message that will not be forgotten on the dangers of “The Silence of Sin.” After the service on Friday, all the young people came together for a time full of fun, food, and fellowship. Jco BBQ did an incredible job of preparing all the food and Fullfilled Coffee Roasters offered specialty drinks to keep us going. This powerful weekend ended on Saturday morning as the Lord spoke to us and we were all given another call to go deeper in prayer. The Holy Ghost met us in such a mighty way! We also had a few vendors that were able to connect with the young people and provide their products; Revival Brand, Michael Alexander, and Wooden Hair Clips. Thank you to everyone who made this past weekend possible! You don’t want to miss Youth Explosion 2025! ...
Easter 2024
March 31, 2024
Event Recap / General
This past Easter weekend was an epic time for our church with 3 anointed performances of the Easter drama “FORGIVEN”, an original presentation written and directed by our own Sarah Booker. This dramatization of the events of Jesus’ Crucifixion and Resurrection featured a cast/crew of over 150, and was a powerful depiction of the last days of our Lord’s ministry on earth. God’s Presence was here, and many people were touched on each night. FRIDAY we had 1,077 people in service, 7 received the Holy Ghost and 1 was baptized. This was the largest single non-conference service in the almost 90-year history of ILC! SATURDAY we had 929 present, 8 received the Holy Ghost, and 3 were baptized. SUNDAY we had 908 in service, 6 received the Holy Ghost, and 2 were baptized. Also at the West Covina campus, 2 received the Holy Ghost and in Riverside 2 prayed back through and 1 receive the Holy Ghost for the first time! In Spanish 1 was baptized in the beautiful Name of Jesus. Here is an excerpt from an email from one of our guests: “…My mother and I were completely taken over by the love of ILC’s members and leaders. They made us feel like royalty. We have never been treated like this before in any church ever!! The alter call at the end swept me away in the river of His Spirit. It was a supernatural experience!!! Many prayed for us at the altar. We left different than when we came in. We came parched from thirst for a lack of the presence of the Holy Spirit in churches where we attend. To hear hundreds praying in a heavenly language was the most magnificent experience! We left alive and `refreshed… The drama was very impactful and beautifully presented. God bless you.” TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY! To the precious members of Inland Lighthouse, thank you so much for your prayers, your burden and your hard work that made last weekend possible! Behind the Scenes...
SOUL SISTERS OUTING | March 23, 2024
March 23, 2024
Event Recap / General
On Saturday, March 23, 2024, the Soul Sisters group ventured to Porto’s Bakery and Café in West Covina, renowned for its authentic Cuban delicacies like potato balls, guava and cheese strudel, Parisian chocolate cake, and savory sandwiches. Despite the chilly weather and scattered showers, nineteen ladies, including three first-time visitors, braved the elements for a day of food, fun, and fellowship. Sisters Miko and Vasquez facilitated arrangements with Porto’s staff, securing seating for the large group at one long table, fostering easy conversation and shared experiences. Reflecting on the day, we found solace in Numbers 6:24-26, left feeling uplifted, nourished both spiritually and gastronomically, and eagerly anticipate our next gathering on Friday, April 19, 2024. All ladies seeking Christ-centered companionship and culinary delights are warmly welcomed to join us at any of our upcoming events, two of which are advertised in this brochure. We look forward to seeing you there!...
Easter Is Just Around the Corner! | Mar 29-31
March 9, 2024
Event Recap / General
Inland Lighthouse is buzzing with anticipation as preparations for the biannual Easter drama, “Forgiven,” kick into high gear. For years, “Forgiven” has been drawing in crowds who might not otherwise darken the church’s doors but once they’re here, something incredible happens. They feel the power of God! Now, behind the scenes, it’s all hands on deck. We’re talking rehearsals, tech setups, and costume fittings galore. Shoutout to the sound and tech crews who’ve been working tirelessly for weeks—hanging lights, testing mics, and setting all the scenes with sound effects and more. And let’s not forget about the costume team. Seriously, they deserve a round of applause for managing outfits for over 150 cast members. That’s no small feat! Oh, and props to the prop team. They’ve been hustling also—building sets, gathering props, and soon will make the set you see pop! But if there’s one person who deserves a standing ovation, it’s gotta be Sis Sarah Booker. She has been running on fumes for the past month, making sure everything’s running like a well-oiled machine. With the big weekend just around the corner, we’re practically bursting with excitement. Who knows how many souls will be saved, how many lives will be changed, and what other miracles God has in store for us? One thing’s for sure—we can’t wait to find out. See you there!...
Sunday School / Bus Ministry | Feb 25, 2024
February 25, 2024
Event Recap / General
Another great day of children’s ministry at Inland Lighthouse Church. We had great Sunday School across the board and are so thankful for all of the great teachers and help that God has blessed us with! Each class takes the time to decorate, plan and make the day special for the children in their care. In the Superclass for ages 5 to nine, we moved our castle that had been created for the children’s revival into the fellowship hall for our main decorations, and it came out great! The transition from growing in the garden to the castle was interesting, and it was amusing to see Farmer Phil bonk his head while plowing and wake up in the kingdom. All our classes taught about the power of the Holy Ghost as the final stage in speaking of the plan of salvation. Each class was marked with great altar calls, and we are thankful for what God did in our young people! Our buses ended up picking up around 100 people from all across the Inland Empire, and it’s exciting to see God do great things in their lives....

Children’s Revival | Feb 17-18, 2024
February 18, 2024
Event Recap / General
The importance of children at Inland Lighthouse Church can never be overstated. Both our pastor and Bishop have placed an emphasis on this age group for both the members of our church as well as those in our community. We have classes each Sunday morning with breakfast provided, six bus routes that cover the Inland Empire, and so much more in an effort to see God accomplish everything He wants to do for these precious young people. To that same end, we had an incredible weekend that focused on our children. It was our annual children’s revival where we took our weekly Sunday school to the main sanctuary and shifted the focus to our kids. It was fun, exciting, and interactive, but above all, it was still church! And God did an incredible work! Our Sunday school team worked tirelessly to set up absolutely incredible décor with a massive castle, a forest, and an interactive welcome area in the foyer. Saturday night, our local Sunday school team told the story of a traveler seeking the kingdom where we learned about the plan of salvation. It concluded with Pastor Tyler Hodge wrapping up the night, and we saw God do incredible things in the altar! We had three children receive the Holy Ghost for the first time and two baptized in Jesus’ name! The next day was more of the same, except that Pastor Tyler Hodge, after some preliminaries, lead the service and did an absolutely incredible job! He taught that only God should be sitting on the throne of your heart and people responded! We had two more receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and two baptized in Jesus name! God was so good! Thank you to everyone who made this incredible event happen and to our leadership that knows how important our young people are!...

Winter Retreat | Feb 2-4, 2024
February 4, 2024
Event Recap / General
February 2-4, 2024 was our 18th annual winter youth retreat. We were excited to return back to Pine Summit in Big Bear. We had a record registration for any retreat outside of the church! This year we were blessed with the ministry of Bishop & Sis. Rick Mayo from Spokane, WA. From the very first song, the power and presence of God was made manifest in our midst. Friday night, Bro. Mayo preached a challenging message “A Revival of Quitters”. Young people lingered in the altars. Saturday morning was a special day for both our young men and young ladies. Bro. Mayo taught the young men about finding their identity as men and letting God use you. Sis. Mayo talked to our young ladies about the Holy Ghost, our treasure. Both sessions were followed by incredibly deep altar calls. Winter Retreat closed on Saturday evening with a powerful service. We are the “Impossible Generation” and we believe that God can do anything. This year’s Winter Youth Retreat was dynamic as young people built new altars of consecratio and our faith was lifted higher. We truly believe that lives were changed and destinies were altered. Winter Retreat is never complete unless you have fellowship, games and a little bit of snow. Our young people enjoyed basketball, volleyball, snowball fights and sledding. Thank you to our Youth and College & Career staff for all your hard work to make Winter Youth Retreat 2024 happen. We believe that the stage was set for an incredible year of revival and unity. Our hats are off to every young person! We believe in you, your future and stand “Holy Ghost” proud of you. We love every one of you! Let’s have revival together in 2024! ...

This last rally was Holy Ghost filled as we saw four Sunday School kids speak in other tongues for the very first time! From the pre-class activity, to songs, class and bus awards, all the way to altar call, the air was buzzing with Holy Ghost electricity. During the weekend of a beyond incredible Winter Youth Retreat, we still had some youth determined to hop on their bus routes that Sunday morning, regardless of how little sleep they got the past 48 hours. As skeleton crews rolled out across four different cities, all five buses managed to bring back a whopping total of 106 kids! A new offering challenge was presented in an effort to raise funds to help support the Riverside daughterwork! The last challenge that was completed was in support of the San Bernardino branch and the kids raised enough money to help them purchase a brand new table for their Sunday School class. We are so proud of our kids and their giving, we cannot wait to see what God will help them do for Riverside. Bro. Julian Estrada led the rally with a powerful message about how we cannot get rid of sin on our own, but we are in desperate need of Jesus’ help. This was demonstrated in a captivating narrative that told the story of a man who had leprosy since he was a small boy and taken away from his home. When Jesus passed by all those many years later, the man reached out in desperation for Jesus to heal him. As soon as he was healed, the man ran back to his old home to proclaim the miracle that he just experienced. As long as there is a determination inside of each of us to want to be changed, we are never too far out of His reach to be forgiven, healed, or cleaned so that He can use us mightily for His Kingdom....

Remembering a Great Man, Rev. Richard Pierce
January 30, 2024
Event Recap / General
We wanted to take a moment to remember a great man and pillar of Inland Lighthouse Church who has recently passed on to his reward, Rev. Richard Pierce. Richard Alvin Pierce, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and devoted man of God, passed away at the age of 85. Born on June 16, 1938, in East Los Angeles, California, Richard’s early years were spent in Paso Robles and Monterey, where he developed a strong work ethic in his father’s upholstery shop. Graduating from high school in Monterey in 1956, Richard’s journey took him to Vista, California. There, alongside his father and brothers, he continued honing his skills in the family business. His pursuit of education led him to San Diego State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1960. It was at SDSU where he met Joyce Bonds, the love of his life. Their union in September 1961 marked the beginning of a loving and enduring partnership. The young couple moved to Los Angeles, where Richard embarked on a career as an engineer. The birth of their daughter, Holly Bren, in 1966, and their son, Adam Reed, in 1969, added joy to their lives. A pivotal moment came in 1967 when Richard received the gift of the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus’ name. His faith deepened, leading him to pastor the Apostolic Tabernacle in Costa Mesa, California, from 1975 until his retirement in 1997. Post-retirement, Richard lived briefly in South Gate before settling in Rialto, California, where he attended Inland Lighthouse Church. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years, Joyce Pierce; his daughter, Holly Garrett; his son, Adam Pierce; his son-in-law, Patrick Garrett; his daughter-in-law, Sharon Pierce; and seven grandchildren – Alexandria Flores, Caleb Pierce, Ian Garrett, Zachary Garrett, Jonathan Flores, Eunice Pierce, and Courtney Garrett. His legacy continues through his three great-grandchildren – Ember Flores, Luca Pierce, and Mateo Flores. He is also survived by his youngest brother, Roger Pierce. Richard was a pillar of strength and an exemplar of faith. His life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to God, his family, his church, and his faith. A wonderful husband, an amazing father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Richard was a man of integrity, a preacher of the Gospel, and a true steward of God’s blessings. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him and loved him. “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” – Matthew 25:21...

SCC Conference 2024
January 26, 2024
Event Recap / General
What a weekend! The SCC Conference on January 25th and 26th was nothing short of amazing. Pastor Daniel McDonald from Shelbyville, IN, brought the fire with two landmark sermons. MANY people were touched, and the Holy Ghost was poured out! The Friday night service was off the charts, with almost 1,300 people packing the house. We had to set out chairs and that was many people in the Spanish sanctuary with the children! Speaking of the children, the Spanish sanctuary was a happening place to be on Friday night. The castle decorations were next level, and around 200 kids were there, 246 total, soaking in the story that was told about the Kingdom of God. The altar call was great and a young lady received the Holy Ghost for the first time! A conference like this does not happen on a tone. It requires incredible effort by many many people. A massive shoutout to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this event unforgettable. Your hard work did not go unnoticed....
Building Dedication for San Bernardino Daughterwork | Jan 13, 2024
January 13, 2024
Event Recap / General
On January 13th and 14th, Inland Lighthouse Church of San Bernardino celebrated a significant milestone with the dedication of its church building. This event was a culmination of prayer, hard work, faith, and support from the Inland Lighthouse Church family, ILC SB had a unique journey to its dedicated space, sharing the building with Bro. Phillip Booker (BoxDrop Mattress) during its initial year. This shared space became an example of what can come to pass when men of God work together to follow a God-given vision. The collaborative effort between the ILC SB and Bro. Phillip embodies the spirit of support that is essential in building strong churches. ILC SB was able to hit the ground running thanks to support from the saints of Inland Lighthouse Church. The days leading up to the dedication services were filled with work, work, and more work. Saints of ILC SB, aloOnng with many saints from Rialto, spent their days tearing down walls, vacuuming, building up walls, vacuuming, running electrical, setting up sound, painting, decorating, and (you guessed it) vacuuming. Through it all, there was always excitement and a sense of awe at what God was doing. The church prayed over every beam. Scriptures on doctrine were written on every stud. ILC SB has been built on the Word of God. During the service on Saturday, Rev. Samuel Howard delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the importance of faith and perseverance. Two individuals from the local congregation were blessed to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost! Service was followed by a time of fellowship, with a wonderful lunch provided by Bro Jacob Martin & Co. Sunday’s service was the cherry on top. Pastor. Joel Booker preached a message titled “Tell Them About the Dream.” ILC SB was challenged to go out among the community and tell them about the gospel of Jesus Christ; That there is no other name in heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. To teach them about the Holy Ghost and baptism in Jesus name! The dedication service not only marked the physical consecration of a new building but also symbolized that ILC SB is no longer a church plant, but a church planted. Inland Lighthouse Church of San Bernardino is firmly established. We are excited about what God has in store for the city of San Bernardino. We are thankful to the saints of ILC Rialto and the Daughter Works for your love, prayers, encouragement, and support. God Bless You, The Dillons...

What a great week of prayer and fasting Inland Lighthouse Church had these last several days! The church as a whole came together each night and what a great time in the Holy Ghost we had each evening. Throughout the week there were many fasting for various lengths of time from young to old. There is quite simply NO TELLING what God is going to do as a result of this time of consecration! 2 Chronicles 7:14 – If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Ezra 8:23 So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us. Philippians 2:2 – Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind....

The Sunday school teachers skillfully unpacked the story, drawing parallels between the challenges faced by Isaac and Rebekah and the trials that individuals encounter in their own lives. Attendees were captivated as they explored the importance of seeking God’s guidance in their journeys. As the Sunday school session came to a close, the kids gathered for the altar call. Restore Conference 2023 | August 24-25
August 24, 2023
Event Recap / General
We are delighted to share what transpired during the Restoration Conference 2023, held from August 24th to 25th. We once again held this event at the Luminate Church and we witnessed a powerful move of God that we will cherish forever. On Thursday night, there was an earnest hunger for a divine encounter. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, and during the anointed preaching of Bro Joel Buxton on the topic “Does Hell Know Your Name?”, the presence of the Holy Spirit descended upon us. We are thrilled to report that two people were filled with the Holy Ghost that night. Lauren, a member of Luminate Church and also a young man who commutes all the way from downtown LA to Covina for church service! The blessings continued to be poured out on Friday night, with even more attendees than the previous evening. Once again, God’s presence was palpable as Bro Joel Buxton delivered a powerful message titled “When What Hurts, Helps.” Four visitors visited the church for the very first time on this evening and incredibly, three out of these four individuals received the Holy Ghost. Two of these visitors chose to visit West Covina church the following Sunday, where one, named Dianne, who had not received the Holy Ghost during the Restoration Conference, finally experienced this incredible blessing at our West Covina church service. We give thanks for the Restoration Conference 2023 and what God has done!...

The Intermediate Team also quizzed well and placed 4th overall in the nation! Our Experienced team also did an amazing job in their quizzes. Our teams also had individual achievements at the tournament. Natalya Booker quizzed out in her team’s winning quiz and received a gold medal for having a near-perfect quiz. Christopher Santiago quizzed out in multiple games and received a silver medal in two games. Elayna Booker received a silver medal in a quiz and was the 7th highest scorer in the overall tournament. This was also Daniel Tirado Jr.’s last year in Bible Quizzing after 5 years of putting God’s Word in his heart. Our Sunday School recently had a Sunday School Rally with Bro. Phillips. We are rejoicing over all God is doing with our children! During the altar call, Trezila received the Holy Ghost and many were refilled! He’s still moving and filling our kids with the Holy Ghost! At the Holy Ghost Rally, time was also taken to award the bus riders, students, and bus worker of the month. Our bus riders for the month are Aiden, Zahaven, Jeremiah, Hazel, and Isabella. These kids are excited about Sunday School, invite their friends and family, and are kind to all. Jeremiah also recently received the Holy Ghost! A few special notes from their Sunday School teachers included their faithfulness and involvement in their classes. Elena has helped teach the plan of Salvation to her Kindergarten class! Maddy is an altar worker and can be found fervently praying for others. These are just two examples of the awesome things that make us Holy Ghost proud of our students of the month. Our bus worker of the month is Bro. Seth Clark! He is part of our Yellow Route and does an amazing job. Bro. Seth has a passion for Sunday School and brings a crazy, fun energy to his route. Ladies Day | May 6, 2023
May 6, 2023
Event Recap / General
Ladies Day 2023 was a powerful meeting! God showed up greatly from the beginning of service through the altar call. We were blessed to have Sis. Lorraine Bertram from Lakeside, CA and Sis. Connie Tiller from Carrollton, KY as our guest speakers this year! Ladies were empowered and restored and left the meeting ready to win the battle and declare “Hallelujah, Jesus!” Sis. Bertram spoke about it being time to fight and how our mind is the first place the enemy attacks. She then taught that our weapons of warfare are prayer and worship. This powerful lesson was followed up with a mighty move of God as women across the sanctuary were picking up their weapons of spiritual warfare. Sis. Tiller spoke on saying “Hallelujah, Jesus” in the middle of the storm. It is a small statement with great impact as it is giving praise to God and surrendering it to Him. She taught seven Hebrew words for praise and how they differed. She encouraged women to worship their way into victory. After Sis. Tiller spoke there was another powerful move of the Holy Ghost and women were encouraged and empowered....
Momentum Youth Update | May, 2023
May 4, 2023
Event Recap / General
We are rejoicing in all that God is doing with Momentum Youth. Recently Bro. Berrier shared the amazing things God has been doing in our youth department! God has been moving greatly and opening doors in the community! For 4 years we have knocked on the door of campus ministry at San Bernardino Valley College. On May 1st, the campus ministry was established and later this month they are hosting their second meeting! This is just the beginning of what God wants to do on our school and college campuses! A testimony was shared of Bro. Estrada working on a call to a Boys and Girls home in Mentone. He asked if they would be interested in Bible studies. The house manager mentioned groups trying to start Bible studies but never returning for a second visit. He let them know we’d come and God is working and the door to Bible studies in Mentone is opening! Not only is God opening doors but he is moving in our city and preparing hearts! At the beginning of the year, Momentum Youth adopted the vision of 75 souls im 2023. In just 4 months, 44 young people have received the gift of the Holy Ghost and several have prayed through. We are believing for 100 to be filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost and be an integral part of Momentum. God is doing the impossible and the incredible and there is no telling what else He has in store for Momentum Youth in 2023. To quote Bro. Berrier, “He’s just getting started and we get to be part of it!”...

May 4, 2023
Event Recap / General
On May 4th the church doors were opened for our annual National Day of Prayer event. It was a special time of shared burdens and focused prayer. After the opening of the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and singing of our national anthem, Bro. DeCosta led us in an opening prayer of repentance. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). Our keynote prayers this year were led by Sis. Alvarado and Bro. Estrada. Sis. Maureen Alvarado shared her heart and burden for individuals who are incarcerated and led us in prayer for the individuals incarcerated and those employed in our prison system. For our second keynote prayer, Bro. Estrada shared his experiences as a first responder and testified of protection because of prayer. He shared the prayers that are needed for our first responders and their families and then led us in prayer. After the keynote prayers, Rev. Lackey led us in prayer for our government, Sis. Leaya Thomas led us in prayer for our schools and education system, Bro. Jimmy Florez led for our military and veterans, Bro. Jonathan Florez led over prayer for businesses, Bro. Isaiah Abrego led prayer over media, and Bro. Josue Alvarez led prayer over families. Rialto Blitz Week 2 Update
January 29, 2023
Event Recap / General
After such an incredible showing for the first week of the Rialto Blitz, ILC hitting over 5,700 doors in 6 days, it would be rational to assume that things would slow down for week 2. After all, the excitement must be wearing down a little, people are likely getting tired and, hey, we RAN OUT OF DOORHANGERS! Of course things would slow down… wouldn’t they? APPARENTLY no one thought to tell all of this to the 10 teams making up this incredible outreach! FAR from slowing down, they went on a tear that was groundbreaking and astounding. The first week numbers were good but SECOND WEEK WAS RIDICULOUS as four teams each gave out over 1,000 doorhangers and Team 7 nearly hit 2,000! As a whole, ILC contact nearly 10,000 homes in Rialto in ONE WEEK… nearly double the week before! And God has been honoring the efforts. Since the blitz many people have been filled with the Holy Ghost, many baptized and many other refilled with the Holy Ghost. It has been true Apostolic revival! We are SO thankful for all that God has done and doubtless will continue to do as we complete the now shortened quest of hitting all the doors in Rialto. We are now looking about 5-6 weeks… God is so very good!...
Update for January, 2023
January 22, 2023
Event Recap / General
What an incredible week at Inland Lighthouse Church! We have had many get the Holy Ghost in church, in Sunday School, during bible studies and one even before a bible study even started! There have been several baptized and pray back through and that is just the start of what God is doing! The Rialto blitz started last week and the efforts of this church have been absolutely incredible. The first week 5,768 door were touched all across Rialto with over 200 people getting involved to make it happen! Young people, our elders and those in between have all committed themselves to witnessing to our city and we are ALREADY seeing the results! As if all of this wasn’t enough, last Sunday night was our building fund kick-off for 2023 and it was the biggest commitment this church has EVER made. The entire night was off the chain with incredible singing and worship followed by the incredible ministry of Pastor Rowley… however, when the total of the offering was announced, the roof nearly blew off the church. People ran the aisles and eventually outside lead by Sis Erica Booker. After a quick lap around the grass, everyone spontaneously gathered in a circle on the grass as the most impromptu groundbreaking ever took place. It was glorious. God is always good to ILC but this week it seems that He has especially smiled upon us all! WE CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS!!!!!...
Rialto Blitz 2023!
January 15, 2023
Event Recap / General
The Rialto Blitz 2023 was a vision of our pastor to hit every single door in Rialto in 90 days. Sounds ambitious? Well, if you thought so you probably don’t after seeing the response after just the first week. To break the goal down a little bit we have approximately 30,000 homes in the city and have split volunteers of the church into 10 teams of 10 (actually closer to 17 per team because of the overwhelming response). In addition, we have also divided the city of Rialto into 10 areas and each team has been assigned to one of those areas. This means that each person on a team only needs to hit around 3 doors per day or around 25 per week to accomplish this goal. The turnout by the people of Inland Lighthouse Church has been absolutely unbelievable! Every day this last week people were putting door hangers on the homes of our city! Saturday alone over 50 people gathered at 10 AM to pray and then go out to our community. To our consternation we found that the initial order of 10,000 door hangers was nowhere near enough! They were all gone and a new order had to be placed far sooner than anticipated! What an incredible problem to have. Many people have accepted the challenge of 25 doors per week and even upped the ante by hitting up to 100+ doors in a week! If we continue on the pace we were at, we will be done much sooner than 90 days! We quite simply cannot wait to see what the results of this incredible endeavor will bring both in the days and weeks to come and for our Easter tent crusade!...
Thanksgiving Dinner | November 24, 2022
November 24, 2022
Event Recap / General
Inland Lighthouse Church’s Annual Thanksgiving dinner was a wonderful time spent with our church family. We enjoyed an amazing and delicious Thanksgiving feast prepared by Sis. Kim Vasquez and Sis. Yvette Hernandez. Yvette brought her Puerto Rican family traditions to the table, her Sofrito Marinated Turkey and her delicious roast Pork Pernil was an amazing addition to our holiday feast. We had a great time of food, fun and fellowship. We enjoyed 1st, 2nds and of course we definitely enjoyed the dessert table and coffee. We are Definitely looking forward to next year! “We had a wonderful time at ILC Thanksgiving dinner. The day was seasoned with Jesus and the meal was prepared with love. It was a great meal that was second to none. It was nice to spend it with family and new friends. We are so Thankful to God and to Inland Lighthouse Church for the new and great experiences we are having here at ILC”....
Sunday School Thanksgiving Dinner | Nov 20, 2022
November 20, 2022
Event Recap / General
The annual Sunday School and Thanksgiving dinner was a success and incredibly fun for everyone involved. There were several groups separated by age. The Toddler Class joined the Super Class to experience the rotating station style that was designed for the Thanksgiving holiday. A few Sunday school teachers were assigned per group and we rotated stations. The stations were object lesson, skit, game, and an incredible dinner. By taking turns we were all able to participate and learn about gratitude from each station. The object lesson was taught by Brother Bob Lee. On a sketch pad he drew people that had things to be thankful for then because they were not grateful, they lost them. He taught the kids that we need to be sincerely thankful. The skit was led by Sister Breanna Hinckley and Sister Sarah Tirado. In a modern twist, they used the story of Job to teach the kids to praise God and find something to be grateful for even when life isn’t perfect. Sister Kim Estrada and Brother Keith Zamora led the games. They were fun and got kids moving. The games were boys versus girls and involved teamwork. Lastly, the Thanksgiving dinner was amazing! Sister Kim Vasquez and staff prepared a delicious meal. Each child got a serving of turkey, mash potatoes, stuffing, dinner roll, and dessert. Perhaps the best part was seeing some of our bus families partaking of the dinner with their children. We are so grateful to everyone that was able to help bring this event together, all the hands involved from group leaders, teachers, cooks, and beyond! We are truly thankful for the work that God is doing in our Bus and Sunday School ministry!...
25th Anniversary Services | November 11-13, 2022
November 13, 2022
Event Recap / General
Could there be a more perfect weekend than the one we just had here at Inland Lighthouse? From Friday evening all the way through Sunday night, every service, every speaker and every move of God was something special in its own right but was somehow coordinated in an incredible time in the Holy Ghost. This weekend will doubtless be a landmark moment in the history of this church. Of course, the many different celebrations such as the burning of the mortgage note, the 85 years of this church being established in this area, Bishop’s 70th birthday, 50th year in ministry and 25 years in Rialto and finally the five year pastoral anniversary of pastor Joel Booker were incredible in their own right but much more than that took place. It is safe to say that God put a stamp on this church! On Friday there was an absolutely packed house as many neighboring churches and ministers from afar came to celebrate with us! Every seat was full and we had to pull in about 100 chairs to accommodate the overflow. While this is exciting, it was what followed that made the night truly memorable. There was a move of God from the very beginning of service, through the worship and choir and finally during the incredible preaching of evangelist Cody marks. The night ended with an incredible move of God in the altars as saints and visitors alike were touched. Saturday was incredible as well as once again the choir sang and the power of God fell. After a few remarks and presentations, Elder Vaughn Morton preached in his inimitable way and once again the altars were flooded with people. Sunday, was just… well, you had to be there to really understand what all happened. It began with Elder OC Marler preaching a tremendous message about soul winning in the marketplace which was followed by a presentation to Bishop and sis Booker honoring their years of service. The morning was topped off by Bishop Nathaniel Wilson preaching how only he can about “The Journey” of the Rialto church. And then Sunday night happened… It’s impossible to encapsulate what took place in words but suffice it to say that the power of God moved from the beginning to the end in a way that will forever transform this church. From powerful outbreaks of worship, to many people getting the Holy Ghost, several being baptized and praying through and much more happening that we were not even aware of it was a night that will be a landmark at ILC. Pastor Mayo gave only few remarks as did his wife and then the power of God once again fell from the front to the back. The long lingering alter call kept many in the sanctuary until late as God continued to move. When the altar call finally came to an end, the church went outside and had an incredible meal in a tent setup outside. It was chilly but thankfully the wind held and a great time of fellowship was had by everyone in attendance. We cannot thank everyone that made this weekend happen enough. It was an staggering labor of love by many to pull off this herculean effort. God has truly been good to Inland Lighthouse....

There was ice cream of all descriptions, toppings for days and even some startling ingredients introduced by host Jared Rowell which was universally ignored. There were also many types of coffee and many other delicious snacks to enjoy while people sat around the fire pit and elsewhere in the expansive backyard. There was a great time of fellowship, hanging out and getting to know one another by all that attended. If you are between the ages of 40 and 54 when invite you to take part in our next many events throughout the year. Men’s Day | October 8, 2022
October 8, 2022
Event Recap / General
Southern California Commission Men’s Day last weekend was an incredible event! Men from all over California gathered together in a great time of fellowship and most of all worship and preaching. Worship service was led by pastor Joshua Winkler from Surprise, AZ and after a great time of singing and praise the service was turned over to pastor Sam Howard from Ventura CA. If you were one of those blessed to attend you know something special began to happen as a powerful move of God came in to the sanctuary as he preached “When Men Pray”. Following his message men began flocking to the altar and a time of prayer broke out out to the point that the scheduled second minister, Bishop Leon Frost, did not preach. Men were convicted, priorities rearranged and lives changed. Following the service all of the men went over to the fellowship hall where a great meal was prepared by the saints of Inland Lighthouse. There were incredible plates of Mexican food enjoyed by all along with the camaraderie and fellowship of Apostolic brethren. It absolutely was a wonderful time in the Holy Ghost and we can’t wait until next year!...

Riverside Branch Work Update | September, 2022
September 15, 2022
Event Recap / General
God is on the move at ILC Riverside and we’re so thankful. The Lord is indeed adding to the church as we’ve had 10 water baptized and 7 spirit filled this year already. Regular church attendance is also up from last year and we’re seeing on average 60 people on Sundays and 35 on Tuesdays, with over 60 first time guests year-to-date. The B-Free recovery program has restarted again recently, adding new students and 3 new teachers0 this year, all of them with a deep burden to help people. We continue to work with the 50-60 homeless people in the Santa Ana riverbed near Market St. bridge the last Saturday of every month and appreciate the many food and clothing donations we’ve received toward that ministry. A Bible study group, led by Sis Betty Rocha & Sis Kim Moore happens on the 1st and 3rd Saturday now at the Janet Goeske Senior Center, which is reaching brand new people that have started attending services. Visitors, community contacts, and new converts are being discipled through the 17 individual or group Bible studies happening now with 36+ students actively being taught by 8 teachers. We continue to raise funds for our future church building and have already set aside $30,000.00 and counting for the down payment. Thank you for your prayers, fasting, support, and contacts that are all helping to advance God’s kingdom in Riverside, CA....
Revival with Bro Tipton & Bass
August 21, 2022
Event Recap / General
On Sunday, August 21, and on Wednesday Aug 24, ILC was blessed to have Bro. Don Tipton preach. He had the will of God for the service on Sunday morning when he preached about “Purity – Heaven’s Priority.” God give us power, but God give us purity! He touched people of all ages in his message. Sunday night we were blessed again and encouraged with his message “The Destination is His Presence,” and Wednesday night, we all made an altar for ourselves after he preached “Intercession.” These messages have made an indelible impression on my life. I will not forget them. On Sunday, August 28, Bro. Wade Bass preached both Sunday morning and evening. His sermon “Let the Goat Go” was powerful, encouraging us to let go of our failures, our past, and remember that our sins are covered with the blood of Jesus. We can let our guilt go! His message Sunday night “Cut the Rope” was taken from the time when Paul was in the ship and a big storm came up. The sailors wanted to leave the ship, but God said no one would die if they stayed in the ship. He reminded us to stay with the ship; stay with the church; stay with the people of God! Thank God for these powerful messages!...

Bible Quizzing Recap for 2022
July 25, 2022
Event Recap / General
The ILC Bible quiz program for 2022 is officially over. We had our largest group of quizzers ever that went to the national tournament in Houston, Texas, and the tournament itself was the largest Nationals of the WPF with 74 teams. We ended up sending six teams, two experienced, two intermediate, one junior and one beginner team. All of our teams and all of our quizzers did very, very well. Several quizzers won personal medals and although none of our teams placed, we were able to make excellent memories and a lot of new friends. We came back inspired to do even better next year. Everyone that has been involved with Bible quizzing this year, as a quizzer or a coach or a parent has been affected positively by the wisdom that we learned from the book of Proverbs. This is the reason we do Bible quizzing, to put the word of God in the hearts of our young people. We want to say thank you to everyone in Inland Lighthouse Church that has supported Bible quizzing this year, either by coming to a tournament and watching or supporting us through our fundraisers or special offerings. We couldn’t do it without you and it’s through you that our program keeps growing and becoming better every year. We would like to give special thanks to our pastor who has supported this ministry through the years and believes in its importance in the lives of our young people. Everyone that has participated in Bible quizzing this year has been touched and even changed by this experience. We look forward to seeing what God is going to do through Bible quizzing next year as we study the final epistles of Paul....
PEAK Youth Conference | July, 2022
July 22, 2022
Event Recap / General
On July 20-22nd thousands of people across the country gathered together in Houston,Texas for the annual PEAK youth conference. In those numbers, 102 of our young people represented Momentum Youth; along with the helpful youth staff of ILC. Our young people had a great time fellowshipping in the hotel lobby and trying new foods in the area. From steaks, to burgers, to Deli sandwiches, we can all say Houston fed us well. Although it was a great time trying new foods and meeting new people, it was the power of God that met us in these services that made all the difference. Our young people went into each service pouring their hearts into worship and giving their all throughout the remaining of the services. Brother Andrew Howard opened up the first night and Brother Wesley Jackson closed it out on Friday night. Each service began and concluded in a powerful time of worship and life altering altar calls. Momentum Youth has truly been challenged and equipped in these services, taking home every sermon preached and ready to take on our city!...
4th of July @ ILC | July 4, 2022
July 4, 2022
Event Recap / General
The 4th of July at Inland Lighthouse Church is always a great time of food, fellowship and fun! This year was no exception as we had many people from the church meet up in the grass area next to the sanctuary we’re a large tent had been erected. Bro James cooked some incredible pulled pork and many people brought food of all kinds that was shared between many. Young and old played football, basketball and just hung out and talked until darkness began to descend. At that point with bro Danny dramatically hoisting the red white and blue we all stood with hand on heart as the star spangled banner proudly played. As it finished Bro Julian, in patriotic sartorial splendor, and company began setting off fireworks in the grassy area while the world around us exploded. It seemed that all of Rialto had invested heavily in illegal fireworks and were doing their best to detonate them simultaneously. It truly was a great time. We are so appreciative for the great people that participated....
Regional BQ Finals | May, 2022
June 12, 2022
Event Recap / General
Two weeks ago we had our regional finals tournament for Bible Quizzing in Bakersfield California. We were able to field a team in every division and we had 24 quizzers that finished the year strong. Our beginner team (Alex Santiago, Riley Coggins, Kenley Coggins, Marilyn Booker, and Daxon Reighard) quizzed very well and we are so proud of them and the way they have studied and worked this year. Our junior team (Christopher Santiago, Zane Dillon, Landry Booker, and Nathaniel Mack) also did extremely well and came home with the fourth place trophy. We also had two quizzers on the all tournament team with Zane Dillon as fifth highest score and Christopher Santiago as scoring champion. The intermediate teams also did great in this tournament.. But despite losing their first game (to Rialto 1) Rialto 2 (Trenton Booker, Oscar Echevarria, Mary Traylor, and Wyatt Dillon) battled all the way back to come home with the second-place trophy. And Rialto 1 (Elayna Booker, Olivia Schnepp, Hannah Molina, and Michelle Chacon) ended up going undefeated through the whole tournament to come home with the first place trophy. Rialto was well represented on the all tournament team with Trenton Booker as fifth highest scorer, Oscar Echevarria was third highest scorer, Olivia Schnepp was a runner-up scoring champion, and Elayna Booker was the scoring champion of the tournament. In the end-of-year awards, Elayna Booker was selected to be the quizzer of the year and Sarah Booker was the intermediate coach of the year. Rialto’s experienced teams also did very well. Our second team (Danny Tirado, Gabriel Rodriguez, and Dallas Reighard) quizzed well but finished just out of the trophy bracket. Rialto team one however brought home the second place trophy and Natalya Booker was fifth highest scorer and Trystan Booker was the third highest scorer of the tournament. Trystan was also selected to be the quizzer of the year for the experienced division and Larry Booker was the experienced coach of the year. Even though the regular season is now over, the majority of these quizzes are continuing to study for the national tournament which will take place in Houston Texas immediately before Peak conference. Inland Lighthouse can be so proud of all the quizzers that quizzed this year, even if they didn’t make it to the finals tournament. Every one of these quizzes has learned many, often hundreds, of Bible verses that will be with them the rest of their life. Bible quizzing is a wonderful ministry and we should all be proud of these quizzers and what they’ve accomplished this year....
Family Day / Memorial Day Picnic | May 29 & 30
May 30, 2022
Event Recap / General
This last weekend was indeed a busy one at Inland Lighthouse but it was also one of the most exciting and fun filled ones as well. It started off on Sunday with our Family Day which occurs each time there are 5 Sundays in a month. On that last Sunday we only have one service at 1:30 PM and follow it with fun and activities for all ages. This time we had Pastor Ari Prado from Alameda CA join us and we had an incredible bilingual service, as our main sanctuary hosted both our English and Spanish congregations simultaneously. The worship songs were bilingual as well as everything else including the preaching which was translated incredibly well by Bro Alex DeCampo. We had a great time in the Holy Ghost and when everyone was done praying we made our way over to the fellowship hall where we had fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and were able to sit, talk and fellowship with hundreds of others! Following the food there was a really neat toddlers area setup with all kinds of things to play with, a massive water slide set up for all of the younger kids and lots of volleyball and basketball for the older ones. People stayed till late, bringing pizza and other food until even the most energetic grew tired and went home. But that was not the end of the weekend. Oh no, far from it! The very next day it started up all over again because it was our annual Memorial Day picnic in the park! People started arriving to the Martin Tudor park as early as 10am bringing chairs, ez-ups, barbecues, ice chests, softball gear and much much more. Soon hundreds of ILC members were swarming the park playing softball, rolling around in giant inflatable balls (thank you Bro Tellis!), throwing footballs and cooking nearly everything that can be thrown on a barbeque. Many people played softball until late into the evening while many others enjoyed watching, cheering and heckling the participants. It truly was a great day and many memories were made and bonds formed. It was a long and tiring weekend for sure but we can’t wait until next year rolls around and we get to do it all over again!...
Esther Conference | May 2022
May 21, 2022
Event Recap / General
If you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling, cousin, or friend of a young lady who is in the age range of 9-18 and have pondered the idea of having them attend the Esther Conference, I HIGHLY recommend you do so next year! Last week, 16 of our young ladies, four chaperones, and one drummer headed off to Chula Vista to attend Esther Conference 2022. The excitement of adventure, fellowship, anointed services, shopping, and Coronation followed by a Royal Tea Party filled the atmosphere all weekend long. After unloading everything in the hotel room, we swiftly freshened up and headed out for Thursday night’s service. The atmosphere reflected that of ILC’s Ladies Day (for those who attended will understand), but on a slightly smaller scale and beaming with youth. With the kick off from Sis. Buxton, worship service began and you could feel the presence of God fill the room with grace and ease. Everyone joined together to welcome Jesus with open hearts and open minds. So much so that we got to witness the Lord fill a first time visitor, who walked in right off the street, with the Holy Ghost right off the bat! (And the church said, “Hallelujah!”) The service went on and our young ladies got to hear a wonderful testimony told by Sis. Tiffany Wells that connected with many of the listeners. Following the service, there was an opportunity to shop around and support a wide variety of Apostolic vendors, mingle with friends both old and new alike (even on the international scale), and partake in food festivities. The night concluded with the Talent Shine event where young ladies can take an opportunity to share a talent or hobby that they are passionate about. There were gifts of many varieties such as singing, painting, crafting, piano playing, and more! Every segment was followed by an explosion of applause, whoopin’, and hollerin’ as the crowd showed their support of each young lady that shared their passion up on the platform. Upon the completion of the Talent Shine event, the first day was finished and we all headed back to the hotel to prepare for the next day (Yes, we slept…eventually). The second day started early with breakfast and coffee (aka essentials) before the morning classes began. Depending upon the age group, our young ladies would learn about the importance of living a life of purity. For our Esthers who were graduating, there was a special session for them pertaining to the same topic, as well as preparing for the graduation ceremony. Pastor’s wives, moms, and chaperones were involved with their own session and listened to an incredibly lifechanging testimony that was shared by Sis. Von De Leigh Wilbanks. Concluding the morning sessions there was free time before the ladies would get dressed up ALL FANCY for the Coronation Ceremony and Royal Tea that would follow. At the Coronation Ceremony, our graduates (who looked absolutely breathtaking and regal) were crowned by their Pastor’s Wife and received a purity oath that they would sign and verbally recognize. The acceptance of this oath indicated that they would be giving themselves to Jesus until the day they would be given over to their husband. Afterwards, the entire congregation prayed over our young graduates with a Holy Ghost power that can’t be explained with words. That was the moment where everyone understood that this is what this conference was all about. Sure it’s a great opportunity for friendship and fun, but it was way more than that. We all know that forces are constantly coming against the church, but where the world is at today, there are voices and battles that come up against our young people like we’ve never seen before. Voices such as, but absolutely not limited to, confusion, perversion, rebellion, shame, guilt, hate, division, pride, and especially the rejection of keeping yourself pure until marriage is something, our young ladies especially, are faced with every single day. This conference reignites the understanding, the desire, and the courage that our children need to encourage them in their walk with Jesus. For our girls to be surrounded by Godly women and mentors of all areas, mingle and meet new friends, as well as have a safe place to dress up like a princess and embrace their femininity, I would highly recommend this conference to EVERYONE! This is definitely an opportunity I had growing up, and it truly moved my heart to witness such a beautiful and special moment for our young people to have with the God who so purposefully and delicately created them. No one left that conference the same as they arrived, and it’s something no one will forget....
Bible Quizzing Tournament | May, 2022
May 14, 2022
Event Recap / General
In Redlands last weekend we had another Bible Quizzing tournament and our quizzers were amazing. In all we had 26 quizzers and sent 7 quiz teams with at least one team in every division, Beginner, Junior, Intermediate, and Experienced. At the tournament, the quizzers did a fantastic job and achieved excellent results. In our beginner division, we had two teams with six quizzers that quizzed very well. One of our quizzes, Alex Santiago, was the fifth highest individual scorer but all of the quizzers did very well. The junior division also had a team with four quizzers representing Rialto and they also did a great job. In fact, Rialto came home with the third place trophy and Christopher Santiago was the sixth highest scorer in the tournament. In the intermediate division, Rialto had two teams and nine quizzers who all quizzed extremely well. Rialto 1 was undefeated through the first round which guaranteed them no less than second place, but Team 2 worked their way back through the second round and actually ended up defeating Rialto 1 twice to earn the championship trophy. There were also three quizzers from Rialto on the all-tournament team, with Elayna Booker as the 6th highest scorer, Olivia Schnepp as 3rd highest scorer, and Oscar Echevarria was the runner-up scoring champion. In our experienced division we had seven quizzers on two teams. These quizzers quizzed spectacularly with both teams coming home with a trophy. Rialto 2 lost only one quiz and earned the championship trophy and Rialto 1 came home with the third place trophy. On the experienced all-tournament team, Daniel Tirado, Jr. was 3rd highest scorer and Trystan Booker was the highest scorer in the entire tournament. The next tournament is the Regional Finals which will be held in Bakersfield on June 18. Thank you Inland Lighthouse for all of your support for this important ministry!...

Ladies Day 2022 | May 7, 2022
May 7, 2022
Event Recap / General
Last Saturday, May 7, Inland Lighthouse Church hosted our largest Ladies Day Conference. It began with shopping at more than thirty different venders, and eating a fabulous lunch prepared exclusively by our own cooks. Sis. Michelle Wilmoth spoke with such grace on the title “Give Back” encouraging us ladies not to be afraid to give of ourselves to others. Sis. Dedie Cooley followed her message by reminding us that our responsibility as a Christian is to “To Know Him and Make Him Known”. We left encouraged to have a servant’s heart, and a mindfulness to know God better, and through us, to make Him known in our world. This special day will be long remembered in our hearts....

Bible Quizzing Update | February, 2022
February 19, 2022
Event Recap / General
Earlier in February we had our first open Bible Quizzing tournament and we were able to take every Bible quizzer in the quiz program. In all we had 48 quizzers and 12 chaperones along with multiple families that accompanied their quizzers to the tournament. We completely filled the youth shuttle and one of the vans and we have to thank Danny Tirado and Guillermo Machuca who drove us all the way to Bakersfield and back. Because it was a two day tournament with quizzing starting at 5:00 PM on Friday evening, we had to stay overnight in a hotel which can be very expensive for such a large group. However, through the extreme generosity of Kevin Reighard who took care of all the hotel rooms, there was no cost to the church or the quizzers for lodging. At the tournament, the quizzers did a fantastic job and achieved excellent results. In our beginner division, we had two teams with eight quizzers that quizzed very well. One of our quizzers, Daxon Reighard, was the fourth highest individual scorer but all of the quizzers did very well. The junior division also had two teams with 8 quizzers representing Rialto and they also did a great job. In fact, Rialto 2 came home with the fourth place trophy and Christopher Santiago was the second highest scorer in the tournament. In the intermediate division, Rialto had five teams and 24 quizzers who all quizzed extremely well. Two of our teams, Rialto 1 and Rialto 2, tied for 5th place (just out of the trophy round), and Rialto 3 earned a trophy with a third place finish. There were also two quizzers from Rialto on the all-tournament team, with Elayna Booker as the 5th highest scorer and Ethan Avila as 3rd highest scorer. In our experienced division we again had eight quizzers on two teams. These quizzers quizzed spectacularly with both teams coming home with a trophy. Rialto 2 earned a third place trophy and Rialto 1 earned second place. On the experienced all-tournament team, Natalya Booker was 3rd highest scorer and Trystan Booker was the highest scorer in the entire tournament. If you are interested in learning more about Bible Quizzing, I urge you to come to the next tournament which is here in Rialto this weekend on March 11th and 12th. We would love to have you come out and support our quizzers and learn a little more about Bible quizzing. Thank you Inland Lighthouse for all of your support for this important ministry!...
Youth Laser Tag | February 18, 2022
February 18, 2022
Event Recap / General
Friday, February 18th, ILC Momentum went to Laser Legacy for an epic night of laser tag! Over 80 young people showed up for the event, packing out the entire building! The staff at Laser Legacy were able to cycle through the games quickly, giving everyone just enough time to rest before their next game. Cries of victory and outrage alike could be heard at the conclusion of each game as the players looked at the scoreboard to see if their team won and where they ranked. Our youth pastor, Gavin Berrier also celebrated a momentous occasion – his birthday! He received cake and the adoration of dozens of young people for planning such a successful event! Be on the lookout for even more events just like this one in 2022!...
Ministry Fair | February 13, 2022
February 13, 2022
Event Recap / General
Our first ever ministry fair was a success! A church the size of ILC is constantly in need of volunteers to keep the many departments functioning. This service emphasized the many needs and areas of the church in which everyone can be involved; everything from cleaning teams to B-Free class to prison ministry, Sunday school, music, Easter and more! We had verbal presentations from many of the different departments as well as a slideshow showing just how busy a church we are and it was followed by an unbelievable message from Bro Urshan talking about being active in the Kingdom! There was an incredible altar call where commitments were made and renewed. The service was followed by food served outside, thanks to Bro. Jake Martin and his crew and the foyer was full of different booths where you could get more information and sign up for that department. We are excited about the many new people who are going to get involved in the Kingdom of God!...
Bible Reading Dinner | February 5, 2022
February 5, 2022
Event Recap / General
For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword! Many members of our congregation have found this to be so true in the year 2021 as around 55 of them read their Bible from cover to cover during this time! At the beginning of the year pastor put out the challenge and many met it. At the end of the year, all those that completed this incredible task went to pastor’s house where they had a great dinner. 2021 was not isolated and the challenge remains. Who can read their Bible all the way through in 2022? It takes daily and consistent application to God’s word but the rewards are endless. Hope to see many many more at next year’s celebration dinner!...
Family & Friends Day | January 30, 2022
January 30, 2022
Event Recap / General
Family day at Inland Lighthouse Church is always a great time in this last Sunday, January 30, was no exception! It was the 1st family day of 2022 and we had an awesome service full of worship, anointing and of the Holy Ghost which was capped off by the powerful preaching of Pastor Paul Elder! After lives were touched, people were filled with the Holy Ghost and the altar call began to slow down, things began to migrate down to the Fellowship Hall area. There was great food that was served quickly and efficiently to the hundreds of people in attendance and after this was enjoyed the activities and games began. There was basketball, volleyball, a checkered tournament and of course the chili cookoff. More than all of this however was the time of fellowship and comradery that followed were people got to know each other perhaps for the first time or much better than before. And this is what family day is all about! We want to thank all of the members of ILC who made this great event happen and for leadership that appreciates that it is times like these were bonds are formed and strengthened between the members of the church. We already cannot wait until next time!...
SCC Conference 2022
January 27, 2022
Event Recap / General
What an awesome event the Southern California Commission Conference was over the last couple of days! Churches from all over California and Nevada gathered together here at Inland Lighthouse Church (ILC) in Rialto for an incredible time in the Holy Ghost! Thursday night the worship service was led by 2nd Chance Church from Yucaipa and the choir was from our home church, ILC. The power of God came down and lives were touched before the preaching even started! When it did, Bro Elder preached with such anointing, and when he finished, the altars were filled with people seeking after God! Friday night was no different with Lakeside Church leading the worship service and Hilltop’s choir singing with such anointing! The stage was set for Bro Elder to preach, and preach he did! God used him so powerfully, and again the altars were full of people being filled with the Holy Ghost. Thank you, Jesus, for times like these where we can feel Your presence and become renewed and inspired to do more for You!...

What great services we had last Sunday! Pastor Jerry Rowley from Laurel, MS, preached to us and what a time we had! Sunday night was the renewal of our building fund pledges, and God did a great work! We are set to completely pay off the current building mortgage by November of this year, and pay towards the new auditorium as well! People were praying in the altars after both services, and several were filled with the Holy Ghost including a young girl in Sunday School. Pastor baptized someone in the beautiful name of Jesus. God has been so very good to Inland Lighthouse!...
Sunday School At ILC
January 5, 2022
Event Recap / General
2022 is already upon us! 2021 seems like a blur in retrospect but we are looking forward to the new possibilities and excitement the new year brings with it. Inland Lighthouse Church loves our children and we strive to provide them with the very best in the way of teaching each Sunday morning. We have breakfast provided from 9:30am until 9:55am followed by exciting teaching in a variety of methods from puppets to skits to object lessons. We play games, sing songs, give Sunday School dollars they can spend in the store and more! More than anything however, we want to give these children the biblical teaching they need to get their lives started correctly! To that end we are starting off the year with our Apostolic Foundational series where we cover the importance of the Word of God, the Plan of Salvation, One God, Holiness and more! This is to make sure that our children understand what the Word of God says about these core, vital doctrinal subjects. We have classes for everyone from 2 years old up to college and career for if you haven’t yet tried it out, come on over to our check-in area outside by the coffee shop and we will get you all taken care of! Looking forward to an exciting year!...

December 12, 2021
Event Recap / General
What a great ChristmasFest we had! With over 770 people in attendance, we listened to incredible singing from many groups along with instrumentals, story time with Bishop and more. But the night was NOT just entertainment because, as it has so many times in the past, the spirit of God fell and two people were filled with the Holy Ghost! God is so good! Thank you to everyone that worked so hard to make this night a success. Of course for the many practices but also for the reaching out and invite guests to attend. We are so thankful for the ILC music team and for what God did!...

InGroup Christmas Party | Dec 10, 2021
December 10, 2021
Event Recap / General
Bustling, energetic, fun and very well attended are all good descriptors of the InGroup party held last Friday night. There was an estimated attendance of around 100 people with kids outside playing basketball, on the trampoline and on jungle gym, adults around the double fire pits in the backyard, playing games on the porch, around the dining room table, huddled in the kitchen and all over the living room. It was chaotic and wonderful! We had several great soups which were perfect for the weather along with pizza, drinks and desserts for days. The highlight of the night however, was the zany white elephant gift exchange with Lauren Decosta being the star of the show receiving a string of hilarious gifts, a story you have to hear if you haven’t already. Thank you to EVERYONE that attended! It was truly a great time of fellowship, camaraderie and festive spirit. We got to know some people for the first time and others even more than before. We cannot wait until next year!...
Thanksgiving Weekend, Pathfinders & Sunday School | November 20-21, 2021
November 21, 2021
Event Recap / General
Last weekend was an exciting if busy time at ILC. We had our youth bake sale, a Pathfinders’ BBQ fundraiser and our annual Thanksgiving dinner and Sunday School. It was a fun if somewhat hectic time. The pathfinder group, for those unacquainted, is for our young men to develop skills that will give them a good foundation living for God and for being the strong and capable men a healthy church needs. In the past they have done many things from hikes to learning about framing and electricity, how to fix a car and this weekend, how to prepare, smoke and serve high-end pulled pork BBQ. They came in early Saturday morning and met with Bro James Thomas and learned about seasoning, making BBQ sauce and starting and running the smoker. They put the meat on to cook and many of these young men stayed all day long until 6pm when they pulled the meat off and began to prep it for the next day. On Sunday they made pork sliders and sold them to the church members where votes were cast for the best grill masters! Thank you Bro Caleb Pierce and Bro Thomas for making this fun event take place. On the Sunday School side there was a lot going on as they served over 200 kids and adults while also have revolving Sunday School. They had a lesson area, a game area, a story / skit area and of course, the food area. Four groups were formed and traveled to each of these locations learning about being thankful and of course, eating Thanksgiving dinner. This was following with LOTS of giveaways in the Spanish sanctuary. This was HUGE undertaking and we are so thankful for the MANY people that made it happen but notably the Tirado family and company for prepping the food, running the kitchen, serving and cleanup and to Sis Marcella for coming in clutch with food prep! We have so much to be thankful for this year. God has been so good to Inland Lighthouse Church!...

There was great food of all kinds but most of all there was a great atmosphere of fellowship where connections were made, friendships formed and an overall great time was had by all in attendance. Thank you to everyone who attended, to those who provided the food and to those that made this great even possible. Don’t miss the next one coming up… details will be provided in later bulletins....
Riverside Celebration Services | Nov 12-13, 2021
November 12, 2021
Event Recap / General
Recently in Riverside, we celebrated 2 years of a daughter work, but 80 years since Apostolic Truth was first preached there. The 80th Legacy Celebration weekend was absolutely incredible. After some Old Time Pentecostal worship, Bishop Kenny Godair started it off on Friday night by preaching the “Power of God’s Word”. After service, the ILC Spanish congregation provided a fabulous meal for everyone. Saturday morning Bishop Booker preached “Redigging the Wells” and Bishop Godair followed that up with a convicting message entitled “Four Keys to Soul-winning”. There was such a sweet, lingering presence of God after the morning service that it seemed no one wanted to leave. Saturday night was definitely the highlight with a packed house and great expectation. Bro Cody Marks preached “Especially the Parchments” and so beautifully tied together Riverside’s past, present, and future. The service was incredibly monumental for us and the atmosphere was electric with Holy Ghost power. One lady was instantly healed of back and knee pain she had endured for months and the next afternoon was dancing in the altar. Bro Cody Marks preached again on Sunday afternoon and didn’t even get very far into his message before God started moving. One lady was rolling on the floor, talking in tongues and shaking under the power of the Spirit. Many others were renewed in the Holy Ghost. We are so grateful to God for what He is doing, to ILC Rialto for backing this endeavor, and to all those involved in this weekend from musicians and singers to the kitchen and cleaning crew. The wall is being rebuilt because the people have a mind to work! If you’d like to hear the messages or watch the intro slideshow, visit our website (www.inlandlighthouse.com/riverside). Photos and video clips of the services are posted to Instagram & Facebook (@ilcriverside)....
Girls’ Night | Nov 5, 2021
November 5, 2021
Event Recap / General
Momentum Youth Ministry put on a girl’s event where we gather for a time of food, fun, and fellowship. We were truly blessed by the devotional led by Sis. Eunice Pierce on how to be “A Well Watered Young Woman.” Sis. Eunice touched on important topics crucial to spiritual and personal development, using scripture See Photo, Wisdom, and pivotal moment in her walk with God. One of the ending topics discussed was being a “speaker of grace..” This focused on building each other up with our words rather than tearing one another down. The topic was followed by an activity where each girl was given a blank paper with only their name on it, and each paper with the individual’s name was passed around the table to a different girl. Each girl was asked to write one nice thing about the person whose name was on the paper. At the end of the activity many girls discussed their surprise and not realizing the positive impacts they have had on another girl at the table. It was a fun and insightful activity. The girls ended the night by painting pumpkins, eating, laughing, and doing French twist hair styles. The girls know how to have a good time!...

HarvestFest 2021
October 31, 2021
Covid / Event Recap / General
After a year off in 2020 due to the chaos in our world, HarvestFest 2021 at Inland Lighthouse came back with a BANG! We had 2,812 people attend, over 1,200 pounds of candy distributed and many, many great contacts made with members of the community! If you were there you know the excitement that was in the air as over 1,300 people came in in the FIRST 30 MINUTES! There were 20 game booths, pony rides, a petting zoo, a huge bounce house, inflatable connect 3, a mechanical bull, Sunday School stage for all kinds of fun, many food booths and the farmer for a day area. We had so many quality volunteers that everything was covered with some to spare! Next year, we are looking for church families of ILC that are willing to have a bit more ownership in harvest, to create a game booth of their own! Come up with the design, create a game and decorations, set it up and run it! If you are interested, please contact Phillip at

for more information! Thank you to everyone that made this year’s HarvestFest the best one we have ever had!...

October 17, 2021
Event Recap / General
Kids Revival at Inland Lighthouse was nothing short of spectacular! The decor was over the top, the games in the foyer were incredible, the fun and games were off the charts but much more importantly, the spirit of God that followed in the altar calls was just incredible! We had 3 children and 2 adults get the Holy Ghost and we are just so exciting for what God is doing! We are blessed with a church that believes in their children, with a pastor with a heart for the church of tomorrow and a team that is able to put events like these into practice!...
Sunday School & Bus Ministry |October 10, 2021
October 10, 2021
Event Recap / General
Sunday School is alive and well at Inland Lighthouse Church. This last Sunday we had a great time both on bus ministry and in our classrooms with children from our local church as well as many picked up throughout the surrounding communities. The theme of the day was families. That your family does not have to be perfect for you to make it living for God. We use examples from the Bible of families that were far from perfect that still were able to do great things for God. We want to say a big thank you to all of our bus drivers, bus workers, every Sunday school teacher and helper and those that do the work that sometimes is not recognized from check-in to running the Sunday school store to campus security. We cannot thank you all enough for your dedication to these children! Heaven alone will show the impact of your labor....

October 10, 2021
Event Recap / General
Sunday night, October, 10, 2021, marked a special moment at ILC when the discipleship class had their formal graduation. Discipleship class is a series of weekly 1 hour sessions, quizzes, assignments and projects and presentations teaching everything from personal ethics to doctrine along with evangelism, first hand bible study teaching and more! The testimonies abound about how this experience has changed the lives of the participants already and with this type of foundation there is no telling what God can do with these great people! A huge thank you to Bro Preston Brown for heading up this endeavor and making it a reality. I would not have happened without your passion, burden and leadership....

October 9, 2021
Event Recap / General
The men’s meeting put on by Southern California Commission sponsored by so many great brethren across the southern half of our state once again was an incredible time! There are many hundreds of like-minded men gathered together to worship, praise and learn from two anointed men of God. Pastor Joel Buxton and Bishop Jimmy Shoemake preached that will have lasting changes on everyone in attendance. The worship led by Pastor Joshua Winkler was incredible and the altar call that followed the service was powerful. After the services were over we went to the fellowship hall where we were able to enjoy one another’s company as well as some incredible fajitas cooked by sis Marcella Thomas and her team. Thank you to everyone that made this event a reality....
Choir Clinic / SoCal Sing / Judah Effect | September 15-18, 2021
September 18, 2021
Event Recap / General
The ILC choir was blessed to have Bro. David Howell from Indiana as our guest choir clinician. Starting on Tuesday and going through Sunday, he worked with the music team and vocalists as we learned seven brand new songs. Thank you to the musicians and choir for all of the hard work! God met with us on both Friday night at SoCal Sings and on Sunday night. Thanks for letting God use you! Judah Effect 2021, our annual music workshop, was incredible! We had almost 200 registrants and eight anointed clinicians who shared practical and spiritual knowledge about worship and the effect of our praise. Multiple churches from California, Arizona, and Indiana were represented. Bro. David Howell encouraged us to strive for excellence. Sis. Lorraine Bertram asked where the minstrels are and charged us with seeking the anointing and remembering that we are God’s vessel to minister to His Church. Bro. Josh Winkler spoke to us about “Crippled Hands, Closed Mouths” where he instructed us to not “let the voice of your adversary be louder than your voice. Your mouth needs to be bigger than your enemy’s mouth.” We were also blessed by Sis. Erica Marxer who taught in Children’s music and administrative apps that help organize a music department, Sis. Kacey Lynn Clark’s vocal expertise and a rhythm class taught by the talented Bro. Seth Clark and Bro. Gentry DeCosta. In the songwriting class facilitated by Sis. Jana McVay, there 4 new songs birthed about God meeting us in the shadow. A special thank you to the Judah Effect staff: Marissa McVay, Jessica McVay, Ashley Bennett, Lora Winkler, Alexis Dukes, Amanda Thomas, Billy Blair, Justin McVay, Joyanna Blair, Delaney Reighard, Darilyn Reighard, Frances Vasquez, Liz Machuca, Sabrina Tirado, Gracie Tirado, and Alexis Lomeli....
Family Day | August 29, 2021
August 29, 2021
Event Recap / General
Family day at Inland Lighthouse was another great time of fellowship, food and fun. Yes, it was brutally hot being well into the triple digits and most everyone was either hiding in the shade and in the water slide but despite the weather, we had a great time! The service was slightly different than anticipated with Bro Zack Wells from Jena, LA, not being able to attend due to the impending hurricane but God was not surprised. Evangelist Andrew Howard was able to step in and deliver a profound word from God! There were many visitors there, two received the Holy Ghost for the first time and several prayed through. God was good. Following the service there was food for all with pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and more provided. Activities were available between the mechanical bull, a water slide for the kids, basketball, volleyball and more. All in all, it was a great day! Thank you to everyone that attended and for everyone that pulled together to make this great day happen. Families days take place every time there are five Sundays in a month, so check your calendar and get ready for the next one (hopefully, that one won’t be so hot?)....
Sunday School Holy Ghost Service | August 22, 2021
August 22, 2021
Event Recap / General
Last Sunday morning we had a Holy Ghost service which is where all of the classes from the toddlers up to the college and career gather together in the Spanish sanctuary and have church. Yes, we do still make it fun and exciting initially by singing action songs, giving various attendance awards and this time bus rider of the month and student of the month awards for each route and class but then we just had church! Powerful, Holy Ghost filled church! We had Bro Andrew Howard preached the sermon and he pulled no punches as he talked to all of our kids about the importance of being ready to go to heaven! And the kids responded. The altars were full of children praying and soon there were kids receiving the Holy Ghost and being renewed all across that sanctuary. We had some of our bus riders that we had not seen in a long time pray back through to the Holy Ghost, and three young people were filled for the first time! We are so thankful for everything that God did and is going to do! We know He’s not done yet. Help us pray that He continues to help us fill up our buses and to see the children of the Inland Empire one by one live for Him!...
Vacation Bible School | August 11-14, 2021
August 14, 2021
Event Recap / General
Vacation Bible school is always a great time for the children of Inland Lighthouse and our community. From Wednesday night through Saturday of this last week (August 11 – August 14) we had around 100 kids and many volunteers gathering each night to teach our kids yet more about Jesus! The theme this year was Treasured telling the kids that they are precious and valuable to God. There was a Bible story area, a craft area, an area that talked about missions and of course the refueling station or where the kids were fed each night. The children were broken into 4 groups and they traveled between these 4 areas and then gathered before and after at the central stage where they sang songs and had yet more fun! Saturday night capped off vacation Bible school with a great service where many children were praying the altars! Thank you to every child that attended, to every parent that made it a priority and brought them each night, to our incredible team of volunteers that made it happen from set up to registration and making every night work and last but not least thank you to sis Alex Flores who headed the whole thing up. We are grateful for the emphasis that Inland Lighthouse Church places on its children! They are absolutely the church of the future!...
Forever Fabulous Outing | August 14, 2021
August 14, 2021
Event Recap / General
Even though our lives are fast-paced, the Forever Fabulous group realizes the importance of slowing down and taking time to be with members of “like precious faith”. This welcoming group of individuals, ages 40 – 54, meet several times a year to enjoy each other’s company in various types of get-togethers and times of fellowship. One of these times was held recently where they had an outing where they went up to Arrowhead, hung out, at good food together, went shopping and overall just had a lot of fun. This group is headed up by Galen and Lori Decosta (A-C), Randy and Rhonda Lee (D-L), Jerrod and Nicole Rowell (M—R) and Ricky and Kim Moore (S-Z). If you want to find out more about some of the events that go on, contact any of these people and they will be more than happy to assist you. Additionally you can email us at

Thank you to Inland Lighthouse for making this moment special, it was definitely an occasion worthy of celebration. We are so thankful for the blessings God has given us!...
PEAK 2021 Youth Conference
July 23, 2021
Event Recap / General
This year’s Peak conference will forever be remembered as one of the most life changing conferences. The magnitude of being surrounded by over 5,000 young people was not lost on our young people. This year, ILC Momentum had a group of 70+ young people attend the youth conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a record number to date. Each and every one of them with complete abandon worshipped God, not caring who might be looking. Not one young person walked away from Peak 2021 without having at least heard one thing from God. Each night was filled with activities for our young people, and laughter could be heard all around and they participated in wholesome fun. New acquaintances and even friendships were forged at Peak in fellowship at the Mabee Center, John’s Incredible Pizza, and at Golf Suites. While the fellowship was wonderful, it was the services that ILC Momentum will remember the most. Peak was kicked off Wednesday night with a powerful message preached by Bishop Holmes entitled, “We Will Not Sit Down.” Our young people met the challenge posed by Bro. Holmes, paving the way for the messages to come. Thursday Morning, Rev. Jeremy Wilbanks taught on the importance of the Word, and the depth at which it truly stretches; His word is meant to be prayed, spoken, and spread. Thursday evening, Rev. Cornelius Williams preached, “The Finisher”, in which he urged those who feel the pull of two kingdoms to choose life and not heartache which inevitably comes with choosing the world. His testimony left the entire arena in tears and deep prayer. More than one heart was turned toward God that night. Friday Morning, we heard from our very own Pastor who preached, “The Son in the Shadows.” The tears streaming down our young peoples faces as they felt the call to step out, leave fear behind, and serve God in whatever He may have them do was a sight no one could forget. We thank God for our pastor! Rev. Nathaniel Urshan closed out Peak 2021 with a message to all the God-Lovers. Oh, Theophilus, stand strong in this perverse generation – the hour is dark, but His light still shines brighter. He urged the entire stadium packed full of young people to find a prayer room, a fresh concentration, and an even stronger resolve in these last days to withstand the wiles of the devil. Each sermon flowed into the next one, laying the foundation for what was to come, ending with a call to bring it all home. We know that our young people’s lives were forever changed and are expecting the fruits of this to be seen in the great revival that’s coming here at home at Inland Lighthouse Church, and on into the Inland Empire....

Water Bottle Outreach | July 17, 2021
July 21, 2021
Event Recap / General
In an effort to reach our community, Inland Lighthouse Church does outreach each Saturday in a variety of ways. Our Sunday school and bus teams go out regularly to get new families to Sunday school and in addition to this each CareGroup in the church takes turns doing the same. These outreaches take on many forms ranging from door-to-door inviting people to church to phone call outreach to free car washes but most recently we had 2 consecutive Saturdays where we did a water bottle giveaway. Each time we replace the label on the bottle with a customized Inland Lighthouse label. As you can imagine this took some time so thank you to the teams that were able to get together to make this happen! Following this, on Saturday, 1st the Ingroup and then the Forever group loaded these bottles and ice chests and went all over the city to distribute. They went to grocery store parking lots, city parks, busy intersections and more and gave away around 500 bottles of water. In the past we have had people attend our services and even received the Holy Ghost and be baptized from this type of outreach so we are expecting God to do great things as result of these efforts! Thank you to everyone that contributed....
July 4th at ILC
July 4, 2021
Event Recap / General
The 4th of July is always an exciting time in our nation and especially at Inland Lighthouse Church! Sunday morning started off as it generally does with Sunday School for all ages although on this particular day, we did a rotating breakout style of classes where we had an object lesson area, a game area, song area and a skit area. The kids moved between the sessions until they had attended all of them. It was different than normal but an exciting change of pace where we learned all about the freedom that we have in our nation and the freedom that we have in Jesus! Following that we had our worship service and then everyone went home for a couple of hours but around 5 PM or so everyone started gathering back together. On the the big grassy area beside the church there was a big tent set up with tables, chairs and a sound system and we had several hours of eating and fellowship before it got dark. Once the light began to dissipate, things got much more exciting. We had an area in the grass where everyone could set off their legal fireworks while all around us it seemed as if the world was exploding. All of Rialto it seemed, had purchased every form of pyrotechnics manufactured and intended on shooting them all off in a 2-hour span. It was truly unbelievable. Those that attended can attest it was a fun time we hope to see you all next year!...
Men In Training Camp Out – May 14-15, 2021
May 15, 2021
Covid / Event Recap
Men in Training was created to teach our boys, ages 8 – 11, to become stalwart, responsible, and yes, physically and mentally tough men. Some of the MIT activities include mud football, camping, fishing, snow trips and other character building events but this time we went camping. There were young men and adults of all ages joining in the fun this time with the young boys headed up by Bro Baltie Lozano, the Pathfinder contingency by Bro. Caleb Pierce and many accompanying parents and friends. We went to Thousand Trails campground in Idyllwild where the boys were able to truly be boys. They rode bikes like madmen all over the mountains, went hiking, played games, caught frogs and catfish, learned how to rig poles and fillet fish. They even got to sample their catch that night. Thank you to everyone that made this great event happen. Join us in this annual event next year!...
Ladies Day at ILC | May 15, 2021
May 15, 2021
Event Recap / General
Saturday, May 15, Inland Lighthouse Church hosted a Ladies Day event. Thank you to those ladies who helped with the registration and lunch service and made them to go smoothly. The lovely meal, fellowship with old and new friends, and shopping at the vendor’s booths made the first part of the morning so enjoyable. Yes, it was wonderful to connect with women of like precious faith, but what was so much more wonderful was to walk into the sanctuary and feel the Spirit of God as the praise singers began to sing. Their beautiful worship paved the way for Sis. Tiffany Wells to speak. She was mightily used of the Holy Ghost as she opened her heart and told her testimony of grief and pain and how the Lord brought her through such difficult times. Her words made such a tremendous impact on many, and we will never forget that. Sis. Beth Baus was the final speaker. Her dedication, wisdom, wonderful sense of humor, and down to earth style was evident in the way she related her experiences, and inspired many to be everything that God intended us to be. We came away from Ladies Day uplifted, renewed, and filled with hope, for that’s what it’s all about. It is important for women to get together and draw strength from each other because we are not alone in our walk with God. Thank you ILC for allowing us to have such a special day....

We are talking about the “Game of LIFE” in Sunday School right now. While our decor mimics the game board of the same name we are making a statement to the kids that life is NOT a game. That we have a definite purpose, that there is a “home” called heaven that we are heading for, that life does have rules that you must abide by and many other parallels. We had a great day on the bus and off and thank God for everything He is doing in our kids!...

Youth – Guys Night Out | August 19
August 26, 2016
Event Recap / General
Friday, August 19, 2106, was our Guy’s Night Out and Girl’s Night Out. It was a time of food, fun and fellowship that culminated in devotions by our various speakers. The guys met at the home of Bro. Adam Pierce for a Carne Asada Bbq and to hang out. After eating and fellowship, Bro. Adam Pierce spoke for a few minutes about being mighty men and young men in the Kingdom of God. He challenged us to be everything that we could be and to let God use us. The girls had a fantastic evening at Sis. Beth Baus’ home. After a delicious dinner, they were taught by Sis. Beth Baus and Sis. Gabby Flores on topics such as being polished and well groomed – natural facials and lip scrub – and fashion Apostolic style. They even had a chance to get free clothes, purses, and shoes! Below are a few pictures of the evening… #ilcLIVE...

Youth Summer Nights | July – August
August 9, 2016
Event Recap / General
As we have for the last several years, we have held a four week summer series with the young people. Our theme this year was “Summer Nights with Elders”. On each of these four weeks, an elder from the church came to talk to the young people and impart life knowledge to them. Our speakers this year were Bro. and Sis. Richard Pierce, Bro. Eric and Sis. Nila Marxer, Sis. Ima Ford, Sis. Christine Moore, Bro. Arlin Pierce, and Bro. Ted Molander. Every week valuable information was imparted to the kids and they were taught kindness, the consequences of sin, life lessons, and we concluded with the importance of prayer by Bro. Ted Molander. Bro. Molander challenged both young people and adults to make prayer a daily part of our lives… not something we do every once in a while. At the conclusion of his session, the power of God fell in the sanctuary and young people found an altar to pray. There is no telling all that transpired and we are excited about the future....

Kingdom Rock VBS – 4 days – VBS theme “Stand Strong” Wednesday- Friday we traveled through the kingdom learning about various ways to “stand strong” for Jesus. Wednesday they learned that God’s love and family and friends help us to stand strong. In Epic Bible Adventures they met Queen Esther and learned of her plight. On Thursday they learned that Prayer Helps us to Stand Strong and they learned how Nehemiah persevered to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem. On Friday they learned that Trusting God and the Bible helps us stand strong. We learned about King Josiah and he followed God’s way at a young age. In the Destination Station the kids learned about the recent EBV (VBS) in Ensenada, Mexico. The kids at VBS raise over $200 to send to the Sunday School department in Ensenada. This was a contest between the girls and boys and boys won, raising over $100. On Saturday we had a KidZ church where Bro. Brennan preached about getting rid of distractions and focusing on Jesus. The altars were full of hungry kids seeking the Holy Ghost and Bro. Tyler Arnett received the gift of the Holy Ghost that afternoon in KidZ church! We ended the week with awesome VBS water fight. A BIG thank you to every volunteer and individual to donated both time and money. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without all the help that was received....

Peak 2016 was an incredible success! 27 young people and chaperones left the morning of July 18th to make the trek from Rialto, Ca to Tulsa, OK for our Annual Youth Conference. After 25 hours in the car, we FINALLY arrived Tuesday evening in Tulsa. PEAK started on Wednesday night and from the first song, the presence of God was already strong. Our young people were deeply stirred and challenged by the messages that were preached from “Throw it out” to “A Church Stronger than Hell”. When it was all said and done, not only were our young people inspired and changed spiritually, but also old friendships were rekindled and new ones were started!...

We had a blast at Sunday school teaching about the siege of the city, the resulting famine and the lepers. We typically serve the kids breakfast when they get off the bus but this Sunday due to the “famine” there was no food available… in fact there was only a sign saying “no food ever” along with a pot of rocks with a sign promoting “free stone soup”. Let’s just say that the kids were not amused and several of them were complaining vigorously about being hungry. We almost caved when some of them were telling us how hungry they were… but somehow we held out. We taught about the story and about when the lepers felt like they had no hope they went to the Syrian camp and found the blessings of God. So much in fact that they shared it all with the city! We asked the kids if they were hungry and of course almost every one of them raise their hands. We asked them if they were upset about not being able to eat and likened them to the city. We explained that God open the windows of Heaven for that city and somehow during class He had also done the same for us. We then pulled back the curtain and revealed this massive cake and cupcakes that my wife Jennifer had made along with 40 pizzas. The famine was OVER!...

Sunday School is awesome! On just a “normal” Sunday we had a great class and 2 of our bus kids received the Holy Ghost for the first time. Another one of them was refilled with the Holy Ghost after having received it a couple of years ago. There were many kids praying across the room… Beautiful. Thank you to all of the teachers and helpers that made this happen. We had a fun magic show, some great silly songs, gospel lava lamps, the spinning wheel of giving and slimy trust in the Superclass but our 3-4 year olds were not to be outdone! In a setting where they have to setup and tear down all of their props each week, they made their class look exceptional! They painted a backdrop illustrating Abraham and Isaac and in blacklight paint they painted the angel that appears to stop Abraham’s knife. SO COOL! Thank you Jesus for blessing ILC with such fantastic teachers! God is moving in both our Children’s ministry and in many churches across the nation. Thank you Jesus!...

Easter Sunday School – March 27
March 29, 2016
Event Recap / General
To say that we had a great day in Sunday School on Easter would be a gross understatement. Yes, we had fun singing silly songs, eating baby food (yes, really… icebreakers are a blast), giving away bikes and Easter baskets and having a mini Easter drama, but more than entertainment, we celebrated the power of God that poured into our classes and the kids and adults that were in the altars praying. Thank you to everyone that made the day a success but more than anything, thank You Jesus for Your powerful presence that we felt and that was continued all the way into the services held in the main auditorium....
