HarvestFest 2024 | Oct 31, 2024

Harvest Fest 2024 was an incredible time at Inland Lighthouse Church! This year’s event ran smoother than ever, with cooperative weather and a great turnout of 2,932 people. Just after opening, Bloomington and Cactus were lined with cars, the parking lot was full, and people were walking from all directions to join us. Though the event was packed, the atmosphere was great with everyone seeming to have a great time!

This year’s HarvestFest featured 27 game booths, the Science Barn with Sunday School object lessons running all night punctuated with hourly songs, and candy rains,, eight food booths, a toy booth, two inflatable bounce houses, a mechanical bull, inflatable basketball, and the “Farmer for a Day” area where kids could pick fruit, gather eggs, and “sell” their goods for candy at the store. We also added the popular Hangtime game, where participants challenged each other to see who could hang from a bar the longest.

This event takes a huge team effort, and we’d like to extend a big thank you to everyone who contributed! From setup to teardown, running food and game booths, building props, and everything in between, your hard work made this night a success. Special thanks to our incredible team, who, under our pastor’s leadership, stayed late into the night until after 1am, ensuring everything was put away.

We would also like to say a HUGE thank you to Pastor Walker and the Yucaipa church for setting up and running the pony rides and the shaved ice trailer without allowing us to pay them anything. What a blessing!

As for next year, we may have some changes with the possibility of construction underway, but no matter what, we’re excited to continue this 22 year long tradition. Thank you again to everyone who made Harvest Fest 2024 so amazing!
