Connections & Discipleship | Apr 25, 2025

We had an absolutely incredible time at the recent ILC Connections event hosted at Phillip and Jennifer Booker’s house. If you’re not familiar with Connections, it’s something we started to give those who are newer to Inland or just haven’t had a chance to meet many people yet—a chance to hang out, eat good food, and just connect outside the normal church setting.

And… what a turnout! Over 100 people and packed the place out. There was tortilla soup, sandwiches, pizza, chicken wings, breadsticks, and LOTS of desserts. The backyard fire pit was surrounded (it was a little chilly), kids were running around, and there was a full-on basketball game happening in the front yard.

But more than the food and fun, something better was taking place. People talked. Laughed. Shared stories. Everyone got to know each other better and that’s exactly what this is all about—building relationships.

If you missed this one, don’t worry—the next Connections night is happening May 16th at the home of John and Maureen Alvarado. Make plans to attend!

Also, for those who may not have heard, we are kicking off a Friday night Discipleship class at 7:00 PM (every Friday except Connection nights). These will be hosted at Bro. Tim and Shanda Lackey’s home (15634 Clove Place, Fontana, CA). Come hungry—we’ll have food—and even more importantly, a time of Bible study and learning.

If you can make, we would love to have you! We just had the first one this last Friday, May 2… make plans to come to the next one on May 9!
