The Soul Sisters Ministry hosted an artistically, amazing evening with a stupendous Paint Party and Potluck. Friday, September 5, 2025

This event was attended by 17 ladies which included 5 first time guests meeting to develop their talents while enjoying a time of fellowship. The Paint Party was directed by Sis. Lauren DeCosta is a gifted young artist who brilliantly guided our ladies to paint a bumble bee and beehive on old record albums. What an idea and time these women had, as a few commented:

“This event was so much fun! We got to conversate and compare each other’s paintings. Would love to do this again”

“What an experience. Sister Lauren ‘s a fantastic instructor. For those of us who needed help she was happily there to guide us. And if we needed extra help, she joyfully provided help. Paint and potluck were a hugh success.”

“We all had a blast. Sist Lauren De Costa was a perfect host and teacher. She spent one-on-one time with whoever needed help. She has so much energy, interacted with us and made us laugh”

The evening was memorable and placed on our annual list.
