This past Saturday, the Rowells opened their home for our ILC Connections get-together, and it was awesome. The turnout was fantastic, with both brand-new converts and longtime saints piling in for food and fellowship.

The star of the spread was a build-your-own taco salad bar stacked with seasoned chicken, seasoned beef, and every topping you could dream up. If you left hungry, that’s on you. Dessert was equally dangerous. Bro. Bob Betor’s legendary dump cake once again lived up to its reputation and Sis. Jessica’s homemade banana cake baked special for Bro. Anthony’s birthday was incredible!

But let’s not forget Sis. Bridget and her homemade salsa that makes you wonder if maybe you should have brought a bigger plate just for chips.

While the adults talked and laughed, the kids launched themselves head-first into the bounce house, where they stayed occupied. Games stretched late into the evening, and folks lingered because, well, why leave when you’re having such a good time?

In short, it was one of those nights where you remember why “fellowship” is one of the greatest words in the Apostolic dictionary. Don’t miss the next one.
