SCC Children’s Ministry Conference | May 9-10, 2025

The SCC Children’s Ministry Conference just wrapped up here at Inland Lighthouse Church and it was something special. 11 speakers and 30 sessions, a flood of ideas, encouragement, and practical tools for every single Sunday school teacher, bus worker, and kidmin leader. It was two full days packed with content. From start to finish, there was something for everyone, no matter what area of children’s ministry they serve in.

People flew in from all over the country to be part of this. From the first session to the last it was just incredible. Teachers and leaders connected with others who shared their same burden and left with renewed vision and fresh ideas.

We also had between 10 and 15 vendors lined up in the lobby with Apostolic books, resources, shirts, and more—some from right here and others from across the country. It was amazing to see so many creators in one place. There were materials for teachers, books for kids, devotionals, games, curriculum, and more. The vendor area stayed busy the entire time and gave attendees a chance to stock up on tools and support fellow Apostolics.

And Friday night? That’s when everything came to life.

We pulled together an entire children’s service with the help of all our attendees, many of whom had just met for the first time a few hours earlier. After one quick practice, they jumped in. The service was awesome and full of puppets, action songs, skits, and laughs. The kids were engaged, and every part of the service was just awesome! But it wasn’t just fun and games because the power of God fell.

By the end of the night, seven children were filled with the Holy Ghost, and another baptized in the name of Jesus. Another is getting baptized this morning. God moved in a mighty way and reminded us all why we do what we do.

This wasn’t just a conference… it was teaching and transformation and we are so thankful to have been part of it. We believe the seeds planted here will continue to grow in churches, classrooms, and children’s lives across the country.
