Vacation Bible School | August, 2025

What an incredible week we have just experienced at Inland Lighthouse Church! Vacation Bible School 2025 will go down as one of the best VBS events we have ever had. Even though this has been the hottest week of the year so far, nothing could stop the excitement, that filled every part of our campus.

We had around 100 kids in attendance each night, and more than 30 volunteers working together to bring this vision to life. From the moment the children arrived, they were surrounded by incredible decorations and volunteers.

A huge thank you goes to Sis. Leaya Thomas for directing the entire program and keeping every detail running smoothly. She worked tirelessly to make sure each part of VBS came together, and we are so grateful for her leadership. We also give thanks to the many, many people who pitched in with their time, creativity, and energy.

The kitchen staff, led by Brella Booker, made sure every child and worker was well cared for with snacks and meals. The craft area, led by Raelynne Boggs, gave the kids hands-on projects that helped reinforce the lessons. The games area, led by Bre Hinckley, brought so much laughter and energy while learning. The Bible room, directed by Danny Tirado, presented the Word of God in ways that the kids loved. The experiment area was in many way, unforgettable.

While every single one of these areas was excellent, the highlight of VBS was found in the services at the close of each night. Pastor Tyler Hodge preached to the kids and what an incredible job he did. Every night ended with an altar service where kids were praying all over the place! These were not short or shallow moments, but long lingering altar calls that were just so special.

The decorations across the campus added so much to the atmosphere and excitement. The VBS curriculum itself, written by the Inland Lighthouse Sunday School staff, was a lot of fun! From the lessons, to the games, to the crafts, to the services, everything came together to make it an unforgettable week.

We cannot thank everyone enough. To every parent who brought their child, to every staff member who gave of their time and energy, to Pastor Hodge for traveling here and ministering, and most of all to Jesus for being with us!
