What an incredible weekend we just experienced here at Inland Lighthouse Church. Our Children’s Ministry Conference was combined with our annual Kids Revival, and the result was something special from start to finish.

People traveled in from across the nation to be part of it. The event began Friday at noon and continued through Sunday afternoon. Friday and Saturday were filled with teaching, training, and practical sessions designed to help those serving in Sunday School, bus ministry, and children’s church become even more effective. The goal was simple: give leaders tools, ideas, and encouragement they could take home and put to work right away.

Friday night shifted from conference to children’s service, and it was one of the highlights of the weekend. Many of the conference attendees jumped in to help, practiced together, and then worked side by side to put on the service that same night. Watching a group of people who mostly did not know each other come together so quickly was incredible. God moved in a beautiful way, and four children received the Holy Ghost.

Sunday morning brought another children’s service, and once again God was so good to us. A few of our out-of-town guests stayed over to help. There was a skit built around the idea of needing a ticket to enter heaven, followed by an altar call. During that service, two more children from our bus routes received the Holy Ghost.

Six children filled with the Holy Ghost in one weekend. Lives touched. Workers strengthened. Seeds planted. That is a weekend worth celebrating.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who helped make it happen. From decorations to food, registration to behind-the-scenes details, and everything in between, it took many hands and willing hearts. We are thankful for the incredible team God has brought together here in Rialto.
