Marriage Retreat 2025 was fantastic!

We began with a combined session where Bro. Morton encouraged us that growth is always possible. The evening ended with a fun game and delicious refreshments, including a coffee station, individual charcuterie boxes, fresh fruit, crudités, and more.

Saturday morning started with a wonderful buffet breakfast, followed by separate sessions, Sis. Morton speaking with the ladies and Bro. Morton with the men. Sis. Morton reminded us of the vital importance of serving our husbands and families, and how whatever is within us will ultimately be poured out to them.

After a refreshing poolside lunch, we closed the retreat with a powerful combined session where Sis. Morton spoke on the importance of connecting with God in prayer. She reminded us of the incredible opportunity we have to commune with Him daily, and how the benefits we receive are immeasurable, reaching far beyond what we can see in the natural.

It was truly a beautiful time of deeper connection, self-reflection, and rest. When marriages are strengthened, families grow stronger, and in turn, the church is strengthened as well.
