On Saturday March 14th Soul Sisters Ministry Hosted a “Women’s Clothing Swap” and potluck luncheon.
Our fellowship meeting was attended by 15 women coming together to swap out old clothing for something new. Soul Sisters welcomed four first time ILC visitors Leslie Fields, Alice Morgan, Adrienne Riley, which were invited by first time SS attendee Karen Fields; all of which verbalized “having a very wonderful afternoon”.

This afternoon event unfolded into an absolutely refreshing, restoring and motivating occasion for everyone attending.

Our inspiring speaker for the afternoon was, Sister A. Deleon who presented an exceptional, precise message pertaining to clothing, dress and modesty explained in God’s word.

She expounded on the biblical aspect of clothing, its significance and value as it is presented in Proverbs 31:25, “Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come”.  

As women our appearance, mannerism and image are based on spiritual and moral fortitude as exemplify by Gods word. Thank you Sister Deleon for your words of encouragement.
 
Throughout the afternoon, we continued to swap, shop, talk while enjoying a satisfying potluck of delectable dishes; this event met is purpose providing food, fun and fellowship.
 
The next Soul Sisters Ministry event scheduled, will be a “Tea with the Queen in the Kings Palace” as we honor our sisters in the Lord. The Afternoon Tea is scheduled for Saturday,
April 18, 2026 at 11am in ILC Fellowship Hall, preregistration is required additionally we are currently soliciting Table Hostess.  
 
All Ladies seeking spiritual growth, Christian fellowship and lasting friendships are encouraged to attend any of our Soul Sister events and bring a friend/guest.
