Soul Sisters Ministry hosted our 3^rd Annual Pismo Beach Trip from Thursday October 2, 2025, to Saturday October 4, 2025.

Our trip started Thursday morning carpooling from Inland Lighthouse church to Pismo, our two group each have their own adventures. The first group traveled to Solvang for a wonderful breakfast at Paula’s Pancake house.  After enjoying a delicious breakfast, the group continued to Pismo for a quick pizza snack at Giuseppe’s Italian restaurant. The second group traveled to Santa Barbara stopping at Santa Barbar Mission for a short sightseeing expedition. Then on to Ventura for amazing fish tacos from the pier.

The group enjoyed dinner at Splash café for their famous clam chowder, then went to the beach to watch a beautiful beach sunset.  The ladies  completed the day crafting unique beautiful succulents in painted pumpkins.

The ladies made breakfast both Thursday and Friday mornings  delicious breakfast burritos, with famous old west cinnamon rolls; then breakfast croissants with fruit, both morning breakfast was scrumptiously amazing.

Thursday was filled with visiting Avila Valley Barn’s Petting Zoo farm animals, country store and gift shop, buying various goodies. The group went to the Aquarium to see, touching and learning about various sea fish, incredible. Then we headed onto Madonna Inn for lunch and shared four of their specialty cakes for dessert. The evening was spent painting rocks while sharing God’s many blessing in our lives.

Overall, our trip was relaxing and a great time for each of us… here are a few  thoughts of our outstanding trip: “My experience on the trip was a lot of fun. It was great getting to experience new adventures, but the best part was bonding with my sisters. We had lots of fun doing crafts and painting, getting to know everyone at a much deeper level and comparing our upbringings. Talking about how God is so Good and how we all have been through trials and continue to face these trials but know that we are not walking alone. Can’t wait for our next trip”

“I made the right decision! Going to Pismo with these wonderful sisters was one of my best trips ever. The room was very comfortable with a full view of the ocean. The food was great, including the homemade breakfasts and Sister Abad provided fun crafts to keep our evenings busy. We visited a small but amazing aquarium and a barn loaded with 45 varieties of pumpkins and all the fall trimmings. Everything was very well planned, and we had such a blessed time that we’re all looking forward to next year!”
