Men in Training was created to teach our boys, ages 8 – 11, to become stalwart, responsible, and yes, physically and mentally tough men. Some of the MIT activities include mud football, camping, fishing, snow trips and other character building events but this time we went camping. There were young men and adults of all ages joining in the fun this time with the young boys headed up by Bro Baltie Lozano, the Pathfinder contingency by Bro. Caleb Pierce and many accompanying parents and friends.
We went to Thousand Trails campground in Idyllwild where the boys were able to truly be boys. They rode bikes like madmen all over the mountains, went hiking, played games, caught frogs and catfish, learned how to rig poles and fillet fish. They even got to sample their catch that night.
Thank you to everyone that made this great event happen. Join us in this annual event next year!
