Momentum Youth Ministry put on a girl’s event where we gather for a time of food, fun, and fellowship. We were truly blessed by the devotional led by Sis. Eunice Pierce on how to be “A Well Watered Young Woman.” Sis. Eunice touched on important topics crucial to spiritual and personal development, using scripture See Photo, Wisdom, and pivotal moment in her walk with God. One of the ending topics discussed was being a “speaker of grace..” This focused on building each other up with our words rather than tearing one another down. The topic was followed by an activity where each girl was given a blank paper with only their name on it, and each paper with the individual’s name was passed around the table to a different girl. Each girl was asked to write one nice thing about the person whose name was on the paper. At the end of the activity many girls discussed their surprise and not realizing the positive impacts they have had on another girl at the table. It was a fun and insightful activity. The girls ended the night by painting pumpkins, eating, laughing, and doing French twist hair styles. The girls know how to have a good time!
