Family day at Inland Lighthouse was another great time of fellowship, food and fun. Yes, it was brutally hot being well into the triple digits and most everyone was either hiding in the shade and in the water slide but despite the weather, we had a great time!

The service was slightly different than anticipated with Bro Zack Wells from Jena, LA, not being able to attend due to the impending hurricane but God was not surprised.  Evangelist Andrew Howard was able to step in and deliver a profound word from God!  There were many visitors there, two received the Holy Ghost for the first time and several prayed through.  God was good.

Following the service there was food for all with pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and more provided.  Activities were available between the mechanical bull, a water slide for the kids, basketball, volleyball and more.

All in all, it was a great day! Thank you to everyone that attended and for everyone that pulled together to make this great day happen.  Families days take place every time there are five Sundays in a month, so check your calendar and get ready for the next one (hopefully, that one won’t be so hot?).
