The Soul Sisters Ministry enjoyed another great time of fellowship on Saturday, June 13. What was originally planned as a summer BBQ on the patio turned into an indoor picnic, and it could not have worked out better.

Twenty-one ladies attended, including two first-time guests. The food was outstanding. The ladies enjoyed fried chicken, hot dogs, salad, fruit, and plenty of desserts, including strawberry pie and chocolate chip bars. More importantly, it was a great opportunity to spend time together, build friendships, and enjoy Christian fellowship.

After the meal, Sis. M. Lorenz led a time of testimonies and thanksgiving. Several ladies shared stories of God’s faithfulness and the many ways He has been working in their lives. It was encouraging to hear about prayers being answered and to be reminded once again that God is still performing miracles today.

The ladies then enjoyed an activity where they created prayer boards. These boards provide a place to keep track of prayer requests, record answered prayers, and display meaningful Bible verses. Everyone enjoyed designing their own board while continuing to fellowship together.

The next Soul Sisters event is scheduled for Friday, July 17, at 6:00 PM in the ILC Fellowship Hall. If you are looking for friendship, encouragement, and a chance to grow closer to God alongside other ladies, we would love to have you join us. Consider bringing a friend as well. We believe it will be another wonderful time together.
