SCC Conference | Jan 29-30, 2026

The Southern California Commission Conference (SCC) was an incredible couple of days from start to finish.

We were honored to have Bishop Jonathan Alvear with us Thursday and Friday night, and then again on Sunday night. He is truly one of the premier voices in the Apostolic movement and we were so honored that he came!

Churches from all over Southern California came together, and the sanctuary was absolutely packed. Even on Thursday night, we were setting up extra chairs in the front rows, cars were double parked outside, and the room was full of people.

Thursday night was kicked off with worship led by the Calimesa Church, followed by the Inland Lighthouse Church choir, and they were on point. In fact, they sang the exact song that needed to be sung that night, referencing John 1:1… which was the very passage Bishop Alvear was about to preach from.

Friday night was more of the same… only more. More worship, more preaching, more of the presence of God and Bishop Alvear preached what can only be described as a masterpiece.

At the same time, there was a children’s service happening in the Spanish sanctuary with around 200 gathered just for the kids. It was fun, exciting, and silly at moments, but ended with an altar call where Johnny received the Holy Ghost. The topic was simple: You matter to God.

We are so grateful for everyone who helped make SCC what it was. From the ushers, greeting teams, decorators, cleaners, musicians, children’s workers, maintenance crew… and everyone who jumped in wherever needed… thank you. It was a team effort, and it was incredible all the way around.

What a conference. What a weekend… and what a reminder of what God can do when His people come together.
