What a weekend. A group from Inland Lighthouse Church made their way up to Ventura to celebrate the installation of Pastor Gavin Barrier, along with his wife and kids, as the new pastoral family at The Lighthouse Church of Ventura.

This family has been a faithful part of our Rialto church for years. They’ve poured their hearts into the work, raised their kids in truth, and led by example. It’s hard to let them go—but there’s no question that God is ordering their steps. Ventura is gaining something special.

Saturday’s installation service was powerful. Pastor Joel Booker preached a cornerstone message—“Lengthen and Strengthen.” A call to revival, rooted in solid doctrine. Growth means nothing if it’s not grounded. Strength means little if it doesn’t stretch to reach others. You need both.

The celebration continued afterward as the church gathered, lingered, and enjoyed the moment together. Laughter, connection, and a sense that something important had just shifted.

God is working in Rialto, but His reach goes far beyond our city. He’s moving in Ventura. He’s moving everywhere hearts are open. Let’s keep pressing forward. Let’s keep praying for revival.
