Back in 2018, what started as simple home Bible studies led by Bro. Galen DeCosta in the high desert has now become something incredible. The DeLeon family opened their home, not just for teaching but for weekly meals, making sure everyone who came was both spiritually and physically fed.

Then 2020 hit. The world shut down, but the Word didn’t. Even in the middle of a pandemic, the Bible studies kept going strong over Zoom, and when the lockdown lifted, the in-person gatherings picked right back up.

Fast forward to 2023—those Bible studies officially became ILC Phelan, a daughter work led by Pastor and Sis. DeCosta. At first, services stayed in the DeLeons’ home, but in January 2024, ILC Phelan moved into its very own building. And let me tell you, God has been working! Around 35 saints now call it home, new families are walking through the doors, people are getting comfortable stepping into the altar, and several have been baptized. Revival is happening!
