Soul Sisters Event | Feb 21, 2025

The Soul Sisters Ministry (SSM) at Inland Lighthouse Church is all about fellowship and unity. Through prayer, outreach, and monthly gatherings, SSM provides a space for women to connect, encourage one another, and grow in their walk with God.

So far this year, two fellowship meetings have taken place, both filled with great food, inspiration, and time together.

The first SSM gathering on Jan 17 had 28 women focusing on setting spiritual goals for 2025. Attendees wrote down their visions for the year—whether it was joining a Bible study, outreach ministry, or transitional home support. Sister Maureen Alvarado spoke about the incredible work happening in transitional homes, sharing testimonies of miracles, answered prayers, and transformed lives. As a result, several women started the application process to get involved, and SSM committed to supporting this ministry through prayer, volunteering, and providing Bibles.

February 21, 2025 – Made in His Image, with 34 ladies in attendance, this meeting centered on how we are created in God’s image and loved by Him. While February is often about Valentine’s Day and heart health, this night was all about taking care of ourselves—spiritually, nutritionally, and physically.

Everyone left with practical tools and spiritual encouragement!

The next Soul Sisters event will be a brunch at Porto’s Bakery & Café in West Covina. Ladies will carpool from ILC, leaving at 9:30 AM. Brunch is on your own, but the fellowship is free! Come enjoy a morning of fun, food, and connection. See you there!
