Momentum Youth Challenge Week Recap
This past week, our entire church came together for a powerful week of prayer and fasting, and Momentum Youth joined in with an incredible Challenge Week filled with opportunities for spiritual growth, connection, and outreach. Here’s what we accomplished together:
1. Challenge #1: Each young person was encouraged to text an elder in the church, letting them know they were being prayed for. This simple act of kindness strengthened bonds between generations.
2. Challenge #2: A day of prayer and fasting, inspired by Bro. Isaiah Dunn’s message, “I Want It Too Much to Stagger.” We dedicated time to seek God with focus and determination, reflecting on the importance of standing firm in faith and prayer.
3. Challenge #3: Inspired by Rev. Taylor Fish’s message, “ABC’s of a Soul Winner,” we prayed and asked God to guide us to five people we could add to our “5 in 2025” lists—people God is leading us to reach out to this year.
God moved in amazing ways throughout the week, and we are excited to see the lasting impact of these challenges. As Momentum Youth, we want to catch on to Pastor’s vision of chasing after God this year and believe that 2025 will be the year of the answered prayer. Let’s keep pressing forward together!
