1,185 ATTENDED, OVER 700 VISITORS, AND 8 RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST!

Easter Sunday was one of the most exciting series of services ever held at
Inland Lighthouse Church!

We had a record-breaking attendance this Easter Sunday at Inland Lighthouse Church with 1,185 people attending services over the Easter weekend of which over 700 were visitors!  8 people received the Holy Ghost during our powerful drama entitled "Do You Know Him?" These services put an exclamation mark to a tremendous revival which we have held over the last couple of weeks with Evangelist David McKemy, during which nearly 60 people have received the gift of the Holy Ghost!

In the three weeks leading up to Easter we had an outreach contest in the church with members split between the red and the blue teams.  There has NEVER been so great an outreach in this church before.  Over 160,000 fliers were passed out in three weeks! If you live in the Inland Empire the fliers you see on the right will be familiar to you. We passed them out to houses, stores, cars, parking lots, malls, swap meets and many, many more places. Several visitors reported receiving several during this time and there were countless testimonies of how God used these efforts to touch lives and to draw people to the house of God.

This enormous outreach attained its goal and with God's help resulted in over 700 visitors attending for Easter!  The church was full to overflowing, church members were asked to vacate their seats for visitors, chairs were set out and still, unfortunately, some visitors were not able to fit in the very crowded auditorium on Saturday night. When it was all said and done, the bottom floor was completely full with almost solely visitors!

Sunday morning was just as crowded however, the pressure was lessened somewhat by having most of the children go outside where bounce houses and pizza awaited.

The drama in itself was amazing, riveting the crowds with its beautiful props and scenery (which could NOT have been done without the help of, among others, Columbia Steel who SELFLESSLY donated both supplies and labor to this cause), excellent acting and scripting but most of all the spirit of God. Many people told the ushers on their way out that it was the best play they had ever seen. Many others came back for another performance bringing more friends and family. We are very thankful to EVERYONE who helped in any way with this gigantic effort, from the props to the lighting, from the acting to the sound, thank you so much for your labor.  Thank you  to Sis. Katie Booker who made it all possible with her directing and hard work.

All of that is a side note however as we were most humbled to have a fantastic move of God during each performance, especially during the following altar calls.  Many families were forever touched and changed.
