Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us that, "a threefold cord is not quickly broken." God in His infinite wisdom has placed many "threefold cords" into the body of His Word and people.

Three things were placed within the Ark of the covenant; "The golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant." (Hebrews 9:4) These three objects depict God's provision, ministry and Law.

Romans 14:17 relates that "...the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

1 John 5:8 informs us that "...There are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood..."

The Gospel itself is based upon the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 15:4)

For the Death, burial and resurrection to be applied to a sin imprisoned soul one must utilize the threefold keys that the Apostle Peter used on the Day of Pentecost:

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We at the Inland Lighthouse recognize that a liberal application of God's Word, Spirit & Grace must abound in order for an individual to grow, bless and be blessed in this present world. The threefold cord of I Corinthians 13:13 is an exceedingly important one that we see daily lived out in the life of our Church;

"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."
